Juliet Landau has left "˜The Bells of West 87th,' co-star James Marsters of "˜Buffy the Vampire Slayer' remains

uliet Landau has bowed out of her starring role in "The Bells of West 87th" at the Greenway Court Theatre in Los Angeles due to "work opportunities."
The actress, who was set to star opposite of James Marsters for the first time since "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and its spin-off series "Angel," is currently directing a new documentary, promoting a movie she has coming out and has been invited to a screen test in London, says "The Bells" publicist Lucy Pollak.
"These and other obligations were starting to interfere too much with the play's schedule, so she has graciously offered to step aside from the role of "˜Molly' that she created in the original readings," Pollak says.
Landau's understudy, Cameron Meyer, has taken over the role of Molly for the run of the show.
"The Bells of West 87th" is currently playing through Oct. 13.
