Overall, I thought it was a great season. It had some of my favorite character moments and episodes. "Doppelgangerland" is my favorite episode of Buffy so far, simply because Vampire Willow is awesome. Plus, you can't beat getting twice the Willow for the price of one.
Willow is still my favorite character, I'm loving her. Every episode she says something that makes me smile or laugh. She's a great character. I loved watching her grow this season, her affair with Xander, the reconciliation with Oz was great. I also enjoy watching her grow as a witch. I just hope she manages to restore Amy soon.
Giles is still awesome. It was great seeing how much he cared for Buffy. When the councilor said he had a father's love for her, it was just a great scene. Plus, his rather dry sense of humor makes me smile a lot.
Xander had some good growth too, I enjoyed "Zeppo" he's really the unsung hero of the group, I just wish he would get some of the credit.
Buffy is still as awesome as ever and watching her stab Faith was painful. You could tell she was broken up by what she had to do.I felt really bad for her after the breakup with Angel, though I'm glad. I don't like that relationship. Though, I will say this for it: If you are going to do a vampire/mortal girl romance this is the way to do it, not that Twilight crap. Okay, tangent over. I loved the scene at the prom where they named her Class Protector.
Now on to our second Slayer. I liked her she was cool. She made an interesting foil to Buffy and a very good right hand to the Mayor.
Speaking of the mayor. As my other thread said, I wasn't a fan of the Mayor at first. That's changed. He is very funny, and "likable" (is that the right word for a demon?) The scene with him at the hospital with Faith was very well done and it helped make him more than just an evil guy. I actually wondered if it was possible for him to be her father. Oh and he ate Snyder, that was awesome!
Spike, okay so he was only around for an episode, but it was an awesome episode. The show needs more Spike.
Angel, ehh he's okay. I like Angelous more than Angel, but he's not a bad character, he just isn't as great as his competition in my eyes. I'm starting Angel now along with S4 though so maybe my opinion will change. (I am supposed to start Angel along with S4 right?)
Cordelia, she was okay, but once again her shallowness annoys, but maybe she will grow.
Overall a great season. A lot of great episodes, good villains. My only complaint. The fight with all the students at the graduation was kind of cheesy, but I'll let it slide.
