And I don't know what to think. I'm glad that they're continuing where the show left off, but...was I the only one that found the comics themselves to be a bit strange? Like how they constantly jumped back and forth through certain characters. Not saying that I didn't enjoy it, because I did, more than I thought I would actually. I just don't think they're up to par with the show itself, which again, not saying I didn't enjoy it because of that.

I'm kinda looking forward to reading Season 9...

I'm reading S8 for the first time in the library hardcover editions. I'm through the first volume, which I think goes through to the end of the "no future for you" storyline with Faith, and it's been decent so far. I've heard that the comics are kind of wacky, but I haven't seen much of that so far. I can not even begin to describe how much I'm not excited for skinless Warren, but besides him...

It just feels...different. Like you said, not bad, but very different. I mean, Buffy suddenly being in command of a de facto army with state-of-the-art technology is a little weird. There are certainly moments (her robbing banks to pay for it all) that are very dumb. I don't know much about whatever "Twilight" is (I'm trying to avoid spoilers) but it seems interesting so far. There hasn't been any Angel or Spike in it so far though, which is a little disappointing.

I was a big fan of After the Fall, and so far I think it's been better than S8. But I've been dying for new Buffy content for years, so I am enjoying it.
