Just finished watching season four..

Hi! I havent been around much since I've been so busy with school. But still here i am, and i just finished watching Angel S. 4.
The only two thoughts i have are about Connor and Cordelia. Does anyone think that it was pretty weird how Cordelia revealed the pregnancy much later that when they slept together? Like they slept together and then like a few weeks later she was barely starting to show, and then in like a day she was all huge. Maybe I saw or understood it wrong [i stayed up til about 3 in the morn..:/ ]
Another thing is that Connor is sooo cute...lol
so yeah anybody have any cmmts on Season four?

Not sure what you're referring to with the whole revealing the pregnancy thing, but the events of season 4 took place over a matter of 2 or 3 weeks, so it was a mystical pregnancy that came to term in about a week, lol

Also, yes, Connor is extremely cute! lol
 
Who cares about the pregnancy when you've Cordy and Connor shagging? I oughtta sue Joss for the cost of my therapy bills.

I liked the Jasmine storyline as well, though not that they had to put Cordy in a coma during it...

Vince is a doll and a great actor, but I hate Conner...bleh.

In answer to your question; keep watching, it will be revealed. 🙂
 
I used to hate Connor but I watched the entire series 1 to 5 all the way through a few weeks months ago and I have changed my mind. I actually feel really sorry for him, the way he is used and abused by everyone. I think season 4 is really interesting, although I know alot of people are annoyed because of connor and cordy, instead angel and cordy.

No, Conner is definitely a victin of his circumtance but I hate the way he treats everyone around him whom care about him. He's just so self-centered and full of himself - he can't see anything around him. The only time he does anything nice is when he's faking it so he can get the advantage.

I wished Conner would die every single episode I saw him in, honestly. He's a little bitca. The only redeeming thing about him is he's attractive. What Angel did at the end of S4 was absolutely selfless - a concept Conner doesn't seem to fathom. Angel has to live the rest of his life knowing he had a son whom he loved but whom never loved him back. Angel did everything he could for Conner and all Conner did was slap Angel in the face.
 
I´m not the biggest fan of Connor and in many ways I hate the way he acts. But I do wonder how a human gets affected by being in a hell dimension all his/her uppbringing. Holtz at least had memories to cling on to. I´m not saying it´s a 100% good defence but it sure is something anyone can´t understand. It´s easy for us as viewers to get mad since he betrays/don´t trust team Angel but we do know they´re the good guys, he don´t. How long do you think it´d take you to trust someone if you were in his situation? So I give him a little slack. Still he can annoy the hell out of me sometimes. :tongue: And the whole sleeping with Cordy thing? He´s a teenager, he have no memories of her from being a baby. And she came on to him. Lets face it, if it had been real life and a woman like Cordy came on to a teenager and that teenager had turned her down he´d likely been called gay or wuss. (Not my personal opinion.) Blame the writers, blame Cordy/Jasmine but don´t blame Connor. He´s just a male after all.

I haven´t read much of the Angel comics so I can´t say anything about him in them but I do think he makes up for a lot in season 5.

I have not read the Angel comics at all, so I can't comment on Conner in that context.

I'm also super-behind on the season 8 comics...and I just got a spoiler and I'm so tramatized.

I love that scene in "Not Fade Away" when Conner and Angel have coffee. I feel like it was a teaser though - I'd love to see them develop a deeper relationship. Too bad there wasn't a 6th season... *sigh

I think Conner has the potential to develop into a great character. I couldn't forget about how he acted in S4 - but he could redeem himself in my eyes if he really tried 🙂
