Just got S1 DVD.......

Me and my wife just bought S1 on dvd tonite and watched the first couple episodes.....I've watched the show from the start but she didn't start to get into in until the end of S2.
I really enjoy watching the younger, more witty Cordy.......and it's nice to see Doyle again.......
We look forward to watching the remaining shows, a couple at a night.🙂
 
Sorry, but all I have to say is, enjoy Cordy for as long as you can...
 
the last episode where i liked cordy was 4x02... after that she lost me... in season 3 she was still funny and nice
 
I can't stand 4th season cordy at all, and I'm just now getting to watch the 1st season, and I love her this way. I miss Queen C Cordy. I also absolutely LOVE Doyle! I cryed so much when he died. I think I bawled for a straight 5 minutes, even though I knew it was coming.

I just finished watching S1 of Angel for the first time. I liked Cordy before, but after watching S1 and a few eps of S2, I really really like her. She's lost her nastiness of high school, but still is really funny and flakey and flighty, which adds up to endearing to me.

I didn't mind her in S4, because I had only seen her in Buffy and this season. Now, though, I see how entertaining she was and what she added to the show. Let's hope that she returns to her normal self soon!
 
arg, I miss the old Cordy, she was so cool on Buffy and the beginning of Angel, then she "grew up" and got another crush on Angel
 
Everybody gets a crush on Angel....heh....I love the fact that there are two scripts on the discs....
 
the 1st season dvd set is good... when i got it in march on my birthday, i watched it all in 5 days,lol...

I got it the day it came out. I think I watched it all in 6 days. I was in college, so I didn't have alot of time to waste, which is why it took me so long!
 
Cordy Season 1 & 2 she was still the old cordy but the writers made her in season 3 more of a hero like from bitch to hero that was their plan and then when she went all bright shiny light up to the powers that be they mend to show the audience that she did grow up she did became a better person and thats shes not the old anymore then when we saw the first 2 episodes she was a little like the old but after that al evil and stuff i liked her in all the seasons though (woah long story lol)
 
I loved the old cordy, but I can see the need to expand her character, but I wish they had left some of the old Cordy!
 
DVDs

I haven't seen much of Angel. Only 1 episode in Season 3 and 5 episodes in Season 4. It's heaps different to Buffy. I have the first 4 Seasons of Buffy on DVD and more to come.
 
I just bought the first season and started watching the first disc. And hey, my boyfriend, who always told me, that Buffy and Angel were stupid with the demons and stuff (but watches the same masks being called aliens in StarTrek 😀 ) watched them with me and guess what? He now thinks the show is really good!! Good plots, good humor...

Can't wait to get the other DVDs. Wish I had more money, though!
