What are your Just NO moments in Buffy and Angel?

For me one is when in season 6 when Buffy dusts a vamp by shutting a car door on it

Hey I loved that moment! :p
When Connor killed a freaking huge ass demon beast with a backhand... And then the demon disappeared in the following scene!

That was a freaking strong ass backhand, son! He actually vaporized the thing.

Hahah you guys are so funny...the car door moment was ridiculous. I will never, ever get over the lunch lady's stunt double in Earshot but I guess that doesn't count 😉. Also...when Buffy says, "Nobody messes with my boyfriend." I cringe.

Every single time.

Yes! :p
Joyce Summers: Buffy? If you're going out, why don't you take your sister?
Buffy, Dawn Summers: [in unison] Mom!

This one for me, I love season 2 but I cannot watch this without rolling my eyes or cringing. Just no. 🙂

Also for me Fred's 'kyrumption' talk on Angel, just felt forced and silly to me and makes me roll me eyes every time as well.

Guys how can you not remember Cordelia being obviously a fricking dummy? ahahahahah I still laugh about it! Can't remember what Angel episode is...there's the Fang Gang driving, Angel does a U-TURN and you clearly see that everyone is a stuntman...exept for Cordelia that is a horribly made dummy! 😀

In Welcome to the Hellmouth, Buffy is at Bronze and she sees some guy waving and she starts waving to him like an idiot, and then he's not really waving at her... you don't wave like that to someone you don't know!!

Cheesy Dark Willow lines. ("Get off, super bitch!" Seriously?) She did have her moments, but I found most of her dialogue to be crappy standard villain stuff.

Oh, and Spike's stupid baby food line in Lovers Walk. And the whole "I'm a bloody animal!" in Doomed.

For me it was when, after setting up mystical convergences, demons, werewolves and other supernatural phenomena for three years, a bunch of dudes turn up with fricking laser guns and brain chips.

That being said, I still enjoy season 4 it's just my least favourite season 🙂

YES. God yes. When Fred reverted to Pylean Fred, it irritated the hell out of me.

LOL I always just laugh at that line... It's so horrible and cheesy. 🙂

I forgot about the car door thing! That was pretty redic.

I found Anya's regression a bit ridiculous. Like we saw her in S3 and she seemed fairly well adjusted to the human world by that point, but then as soon as she became a bigger character it's like she lost that to become the comedic character who doesn't know anything about the world.

And who can forget the 'get out get out GET OUT' which still makes me cringe.

Yeah I noticed that too.

YES.... This was something that always really irked me. Anya in Season 5 of Buffy is nothing like Season 3. She was a much more interesting character to me before they reduced her to comic relief.

I think the transformation happened in S4, not S5. In S3 Anya is actually cunning and manipulative. In S4 (and to an extent the final parts of S3) suddenly she has no clue whatsoever about human society and can't tell a convincing lie to save her life. One wonders how she ever managed to trick anyone into making any wishes...

Way too many of those moments for me, I am afraid. Practically everything Spike did in S4-6 elicited such a reaction because they should have staked him like a million times. Smaller moments that really bug me include Buffy beating the crap out of Ted, never mind she was supposed to be vastly stronger than him (she really lucked out that the guy was a robot), Faith somehow surviving in Graduation Day I, Angel letting Drusiall and Darla go after he set them on fire, Adam's completely nonsensical plan in Primeval (I love the rest of the episode, though), Spike pretending to be out of breath in The Yoko Factor (you are a vampire, you moron!), Giles writing about Dawn in his diary (way to keep a secret, Giles!), Xander summoning Sweet (screw you Joss and your stupid plot twists), Willow's magic addiction nonsense, etc.

Very good points... Yeah I think you're right about it being Season 4 were she was the worst.
The Adam storyline. No...just no. Thank goodness it lasted only S4.

Speaking of S4..."Something Blue". And not just because of Spuffy. Believe me, even if I was the biggest Spuffy on the face of this earth, I would still hate the episode.
