I always wanted to watch the show, but never actually tuned into it 😛 I found somewhere to watch it, and so far I like it! That's after only seeing the first two eps! 😀 Alyson's great! Neil Patrick Harris I've always liked He's hilarious!!

I've seen about half of one episode. I thought it was adorable and funny, but I've never really been into sitcoms, so. . . . *shrug* I'm more of a C.S.I., SCC, House type of person.

Me too but I liked what I saw so I'm going to continue watching it 🙂
 
It's great, I just watched the first and second seasons a couple of weeks ago. I think I watched the second season a couple of times cos it was so good! 😛

I just bought the first season this weekend and I have been watching it and it is hilarious. I love Marshall and Barney. And of course Allyson is so adorable on it.
 
One of my favorite shows on right now. I've been watching from the start. There haven't been many sitcoms I've gotten into in the past few years. But I watch this one every week. NPH steals the show though. Barney rocks!

I *LOVE* HIMYM. Being Made By The Creators Of Friends I didn't think it could live up to it, but it's that and more. I totally love it 😀
 
I just didn't 'feel it.' Sometimes you click with shows and sometimes you don't. Unfortunately I didn't with this one, which is sad because of Aly.
 
I don;t know if I've clicked but whenever i start one episode I have to watch 5 more after it.. But I don;t crave it every second and need to watch it instantly, just after I start watching I can't stop! I aways want to knoe he next thing to happen, and where it's going. I just have too much free time I guess 😛
 
During the first season I started watching it, I enjoyed it but for some reason it was hard to just watch week-to-week, I would sort of lose interest even though once I actually forced myself to watch, I would love it. Then I just waited awhile and would watch batches of episodes.

After the first season, which I enjoyed, I just never started watching season two. I'll probably Netflix it.

It's just one of those shows that, even though I like them a lot, it's just not real appointment television.
 
I just started season 2 today 🙂 I surprisingly had seen the first two episodes when they aired when it was actually on. I forgot all about that til I watched em today.

Still don't know who's Ted's future wife though.

That's the hook of the show. me and hubby have a debate going about how long we think they can drag out the mystery, lol. And, of course, who is the "mother".

That was the very best part of the first episode...they spend the whole time setting up that he found his true love and then at the end..."that is how I met your Aunt Robin." I was like, what the heck! I was hooked after that.
 
Now I started watching as well. Saw my first epiosode yesterday afternoon and now I'm already at the 10th episode 😛

It's great this show, but imo Friends is still the best sitcom ever. However, HIMYM has the advantage of new episodes, and that makes a show always more interesting.

Oh, and yay, heard a 4th season was confirmed.

Isn´t it the same person? He´s telling the story to his kids so their mother should be Ted´s (his) wife, right?

The only reason I started watching the show was of course Alyson. And even if she´s not to bad the real star of the show obviously is Barney (Neil Patrick Harris). But seeing dr. Howser all grown up makes me feel real old. I wouldn´t compare HIMYM with Friends since the first seasons of Friends is in a league of it´s own. But the upside is, as Social Suicide said, that you have new episodes to look forward too.

And for those who didn´t know/noticed, the voice of old Ted belongs to Bob Saget.
 
I love this show! One of my favourites. It's so funny, interesting and I like the characters so much!
I've seen 2 seasons so far and can't wait till season 3 will be on air.
 
It's already on air in Poland? here season1 will air this summer for the first time. I hate it how Germany always gets to see all the cool stuff last! We#re not even done with Angel s5 yet!

So who's your favourite character of HIMYM? Mine's Robin.
 
2 seasons have been already aired and now we have a break. I'm so missing the show but don't know when new episodes will be aired.
And don't worry, Polish tv can be really sucky too. Can you believe that only 3 seasons of Buffy have been aired here? The same for Angel. Well,now some new channel started airing Angel but I don't have it. If I didn't have DVD's I would go crazy!

Back to the topic, it's hard for me to pick favourite character. Everyone of them brings something to the show .If I had to pick my favourite it would be Lily or Ted🙂 But I love them all! My brother's favourite is Barney. I like him too-he's so funny! Well, in real life i would be mad at him very often but I just love watching him on the screen.
