Just Started Watching HIMYM

Yeah Barney is great as well.

Do you have a favourite episode? I saw some I thought were REALLY hilarious. 'The Pineapple Incident' for example.
 
Loving season 3! My favorite character will always be Marshall, he is just so adorable and I love his humor. Jason Segel yay! My favorite episode has to be the Slap Bet one...can't wait for the next slap!
 
My favourite episodes would be "World's Greatest Couple" , "Arrivederci, Fiero" and "Something Borrowed". They're hilarious!:biggrin:
 
Okay, I have now finished all the episodes available and damn this show is great 😀

Also, am I the only one really rooting for Robin and barney to get together?
 
It's funny, I never got into this show. BUT I only watched a few mins of the first eppy, I didn't even know that Robyn was off the radar as the 'Mother' (i.e. Aunt Robyn). However I did see a recent episode, it was one where Ted (I think that is who it was?) goes to a doc or derm for treatments and wants to date her but she is a mom so she says no...so they have a 5 minute date or something and omg I thought it was ADORABLE. Britney Spears guest-starred as a receptionist. Anyways that episode made me wonder why the heck I am not watching that show? Added bonus: Aly of course!
 
Just watch the show, it's great 😉 And if you want to go for the funniest episodes, I woul watch season2, those were the most hilarious ones in my opinion.a

I started watcing season two last night. I love this show! It makes me laugh so much. Though I was quite mad at Lily in the start of the season!
 
Ok so I'm a bit late on the uptake, but I've just watched most of the episodes and man, that show is legen..... wait for it.... DARY! Yeah I'm down for the Barney/Robin ship... What would you call it... Bobin or Rarney? Hehe. When they kiss in Season 3 my heart actually skipped a beat!
 
Hmm... I guess that's not to far away. I wonder why Barney is ever referred to as Uncle Barney when Ted is talking to the kids. Seems weird. I wonder if he dies before Ted meets his wife!
 
Yeah, my wife and I where shocked by the 'Aunt Robin' too....we now have a side bet going on concerning Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney....and if they end up together as husband and wife.

The show is pretty clever and along with "Chuck" is one of our two favorite, new currently airing TV shows.
 
I watched HIMYM for the first time only a few weeks ago.
Mostly because I wanted to see Alyson in something else.
Didn't take long to watch all 3 seasons 🙂

Absolutely loved it.
It's the best sitcom I have seen since Friends. (I got some protests the last time I wrote that, but I stand by it)

Oooh, I LOVE HIMYM! I, too, started watching for Alyson, and I thought it'd be the stereotypical, not funny sitcom, but it's hilarious! I've seen all but a few episodes at this point, and my favorite has to be Marshall. He's the best!

Also, Neil Patrick Harris is so hot. It's too bad he's not single or straight. 🙁
 
Been watching the odd episode the last few weeks and its better than I thought, I am watching it mostly for Alyson heh.
 
I saw one episode and turned it off. don't jump on me here but I just found it stupid. hmm...I guess just not my thing.

What episode was it? Some of them are just so-so.

If you're willing to give it another shot, I'd suggest watching either Slap Bet or The Pineapple Incident. I think they're the best episodes.

the episode was with alyson hannigan and her boyfriend were having a party and they kept going up on the roof to...you know. 😛

you should 🙂. to be honest, i felt that way the first time i watched it. kind of like "well, its okay, but its nothing special." now i totally love it! its so funny and awesome! im not saying love it or die, but you should definitely give it a shot with another episode or two 😀.

Slap Bet is by far my FAVORITE episode. "Looks like you've suffered from premature slapulation" Gets me everytime. I also really love that Marshall has carried over the slaps in the other episodes. I just LOVE Marshall!

'Slap Bet' is great.
'Okay Awesome' might be my favorite episode though.

Also fun that you get to see some familiar faces if you're a Whedon fan.
I have spotted Alexis Denisof, Tom Lenk, Morena Baccarin and Amy Acker so far. Not sure if I missed someone.
