Just Started Watching HIMYM

'Monday Night Football' is also a really funny episode. Though people usually don't find the same things funny. Like, for example, my brother doesn't like the episode 'Slap Bet' too much, though he does like the show. And many people say that's the best episode.

I didn't know there was a theread about HIMYM!! I lovelovelovelove it! It's actually one of my fav shows ever!! I've seen all the episodes (twice xp) and i'm waiting for season 4 (which is going to be LEGENDARY! 😛) My fav character is Barney (NPH rules \o/) then Marshal and Lily (they're so funny and cute together).

I have to admit that I recently found myself dancing to " Let's go to the mall" and singing-along, haha.

lol It's from the episode "Everything Must Go". Lily and Marshall were having trouble with their new apartment and they didn't have enough money so Marshall tells Lily that she has to sell her clothes and that he even made a website: http:// lilyandmarshallselltheirstuff .com and she says "Oh, i've got a better one: www. guyforceshiswifetodressinagarbagebagforthenext threeyears .com Oh, that's real!"

Yup.. september 22nd .. (i've been counting the days for an eternity!!) I'm so excited about the new season!! I'm a barney&robin fan... so i hope he'll tell her something!! btw Do you think Ted should marry Stella?? I don't like her that much :/
 
^ i think i made a whole thread for it here once, but no one (or a small few, so small i dont remember) posted, so maybe itll get more responses if its just a little link in a post 🙂.

and do i think ted should marry stella? hm...i dont know. she's okay, but nothing amazing. she could always become more developed and likeable, though, if she stayed. but if not, even if she says yes to him, you never know what'll happen between 😛.

Yes, i mean she is not HORRIBLE/BAD. she's just ok... But i don't think she's the "mom" because i read somewhere that HIMYM was going to have more seasons.. so i guess we'll just find out whothe "mother" is in the end or very close to the end...

Anyway, i'm really looking foward to the new season. especially because of the barney/robin thing 😀 hehe
 
OMG!! I had no idea!! 😀

Tomorrow i'm going to have a lot of fun replying to all those threads. But now i have to go. (tomorrow i'm going back to school.. ::crying2: and i'll have to get up early. See you all tomorrow!! 😉 )

I finally watched my first two eps of HIMYM today; just happened onto the show, I guess they're somewhere mid-season 1 (the first one I just saw was the one with the "cockamouse"). (btw, German TV at it's worst, once more - hiding the show away in the early Saturday afternoon without giving out any advertisement of it being on, grr!) I'm definitely going to keep watching it now, not only for finally getting a weekly dose of Hannigan once more, but it's really fun too!

seriously? My brother watched half an episode in German and said it was horrible. And I have no idea about that, but knowing what they did with Friends, and German dubbing in general, I reaaaly recommend watching the whole show in English.
 
I loved this weeks episode. Regis being on was hilarious and I love the whole burger thing. I have totally had that moment and then searched and searched to try and find it again. Classic.
 
the 2nd episode was so funny.. and poor marshall (lol i loved the "pants thing" .. i can't believe he left the house XD) !!! btw.. there wasn't any robin+barney moments.. what do you think it's gonna happen from now on? do you think they'll just forget about it? :/ i hope not... 😉
 
Yeah, I was wondering that too.
Hard to tell after this episode. It was pretty much a stand-alone episode. And good one it was, not among the best but still really funny.

Barney took a stand and choosed bimbos in the first episode, but I would never had guessed that they would drop the Barney - Robin thing that quickly.
So my first guess is that it isn't quite over yet. But on the other hand, maybe they decided that Barney needs to be Barney and just dropped it (which I fully support).
So, I have no idea really... 😀

I'd probably like it less if I had the original version to compare it to, no doubt... But I guess I'd be all for a new show with Aly, even if she were just reading out the NYC phone book. :lmao:
