It reminded me of how much I miss the show...Buffy helped me through a very rough time in my life and I am glad to see such an active community devoted to it. I hope to meet lots of wonderful folks here and have plenty of great conversations concerning my favorite slayer!

A lot of people say that Buffy helped them through hard times. For me, my hardest times were over before I found Buffy, too bad, but I'd say she helped me retroactively to sort out the lessons of the past.

Actually, I'd like to talk about this kind of thing on the board, but I'm not sure how to go about it, how to frame the question. I can foresee some problems/dangers. Does anybody have any suggestions?

It's true. Me, and I know some other people like me, find that Buffy is the best cure. Like when I'm sick or feeling down, inserting a Buffy DVD disc helps me and I feel better.
