Just wanted to say hello and say how thankful I am that I found a group of folks that would like to talk about this show. To me, Buffy is kind of like a comfort blanket. Even though it's been off of the air for awhile, when I need pure entertainment, I flop a DVD on.

This always cheers me up. I've turned my hippie mother onto it, my senial grandmother, my Desperate Housewives best friend. And let me tell you they're better for it.

I look forward to talking to you all.

PS. I'm seriously thinking of starting the series over. From Season One , I haven't done that in years.

Thanks for the welcome. The problem with starting from the begining ,for me, is...there are so many freaking episodes! And I have ones that I like better than others. I skip around.

To make the committment to watch them ALL, straight through is a hard task. But it's one I will gladly accept.

I've been doing some rewatching myself over the past few months and the show is still extremely enjoyable to watch. When i watch Buffy its just different too other shows. The emotions, spirit and general story the show tells is so appealing and just lovely to watch.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!! I start season one, episode one tonight. And let me tell ya, I'm excited. This will be probably my third time going through them all (including when they were on TV).

I was lucky enough to have watched the show from the intial premiere on WB. From that first episode I was hooked. I was about 14 or so at the time, and it was like I grew up with Buffy and the characters. It's funny I even talk whedon speak.

PS the episode of Glee he directed brought back delightful memories. Nobody does it like Joss.
