I just recently rewatched Season 3 of Angel and I noticed that Justine is very very annoying. Sure, she lost her sister to vampires which explains the whole anger towards Angel but Angel saved her and spared her time and time and time again that I felt that it became ridiculous she couldn't see that Angel was good.

I felt that the writers kept writing Justine so she had an arc and was good, then bad, then good, then bad again. I mean, she joins Holtz, cuts Wes' throat, tells them where Wes was, gets saved by Angel and Connor in the bar, then joins Holtz again and sinks Angel to the bottom of the sea. She was a character that just could not learn.

I guess Justine and Holtz in general just bother me because of their motivations sometimes. Come on, Justine. I know it's sad to lose a sister to vampires and all but hey, get over it! If I had it my way, Justine would have stayed locked up in a cage in Wes' apartment for the remainder of the series... :lmao:

I didn't like Justine, either. I won't rehash the reasons because, frankly, you laid them out pretty well.

What I will say is this: keep watching. I feel like her arc came to a fitting conclusion in season 4.

I find it very fitting that her love for Holtz and her desire to be a family with Holtz and Connor were thwarted by Holtz, himself. For Holtz, Justine was just a means to an end and Connor never knew or loved her. In the end, I think she learned a hard lesson about with whom to place her trust and why.

nice new Xander/Anya theme! like the banner :)
Yeah, she is quite irritating. I feel bad for her, though. She was completely modivated by revenge and used by Holtz. Maybe she did change...what ever happened to her, anyway?

i hated justine, but then, i think we were supposed to. she blindly followed Holtz because she was easily manipulated. She turned into a boot-licker to him. she may have hesitated about things, but only briefly, she still pretty much went through with them without too much thought, so i feel like she had no depth. even minor characters tend to have depth in the whedonverse, ifelt she lacked it, and she didnt deserve much sympathy.

I don't hate her, I just wanted Wesley to Kill her she deserved it.
My feelings for Justine go beyond hate and love its more like I would'nt really care, I just don't want her stealing my oxygen with her filthy lungs and her black heart. Too much???? lol x

Good question. I don't remember what happened to her.

I think the last time we see her in the series is after Wes leaves her at the pier after rescuing Angel from the bottom of the sea. He says something like, "You can continue you living the way you do or you can no longer be a slave." I bet she doesn't change. :tongue2:

I do wonder what happened to her...hopefully she took Wes' words to heart.
