It's been a long time since I've posted any art on here, and this is the first since the new rules. I thought I'd start afresh, seeing as my original thread contains pieces from when I was just starting out. I was looking over it today, and it was nice to see how far I've progressed. Of course, I still have a long way to go, but here's some of the stuff I've been doing recently.

Where textures/gradients/brushes/caps are not credited, assume they are from me.

Where fonts are not credited, assume they are free use from dafont or 1001 free fonts etc.

First, quite an old wallpaper that I never posted in my old thread. I didn't really do much to this in the end, the original image was really interesting. Unfortunately, I can't remember the site I got it from. It was a good site too...

Angel Season 2 is my favourite by far, and I just love the bad guys. Especially when they aren't all on the same side.

I am totally loving those icons... Beautifully cropped/lit/textured. 🙂 I also love the way you did the Christian Kane wallie. And even though I'm not a fan of Kate's character, I really love the pic you chose of Elisabeth Rohm and the way the colors contrast so vividly. Great work!!

I know what you mean, Kate was a wasted character. She had so much potential that was squandered. And thank you. :)
Oh wow, I love what you did with that photo of Kate! The contrast levels make for a really striking piece.... and is it just me or did you re-colour some of it, too? Looks great anyway, and nicely blended into the white part too (good idea using the "cloudy" effect around the edge of the chair, I never would have thought to do that! 🙂). And I think you're right, it would have been an interesting dynamic to see Kate as a vamp in the end!

I'm also a little in love with those "bad guy" icons. Think that the look on their faces actually capture their personalities quite perfectly. I'd use any of those for an av, any day. 😀
 
Thanks AS. 🙂 I did do some re-colouring on the Kate one. She looked very much alive, especially with the top's original radioactive green colouring! And her lipstick was just as bright! I still think the white masking is a little clumsy, I might touch it up a bit tonight.

Brilliant works! I really dig the Christian wallpaper. And the OMWF icon theme is awesome. So are another 4 below. And good to see Kate art because no-one makes her arts so often. 🙂

Nice to see your work on here again. Great stuff, really love the Kate piece and how you blended the chair into the white background, looks awesome, oh and nice to see the season 2 gang getting some attention. 🙂

Why is Dru dressed as Dawn in the scene where Darla is trying to drum up some lackeys in Angel S2? It just struck me as being rather odd, considering her usual choice of wardrobe! Maybe she's confused as to what show she's on. I mean, S2 did air alongside Buffy S5!

Love the Vogue one.
Those are both really great, it's been a while since I've seen a lot of Darla/Dru stuff so kudos for switching it up! The first one is just perfect, you definitely picked the right photo I think (Juliet looks adorable there!😀). The background is really nice too; I like that it has some texture to it without taking over the text. Was that like that originally? If not, you should officially do all my blending for me from now on! 😉 😛

The second one turned out cool, too. I may have used an extra filter or two personally, just to do something different with the photos, but I love the idea and how VOGUE sort of disappears behind the clothes-rack. A very original concept overall, made into a cute banner!


PS: Can I just say too how much I love how you actually post the photos? Having the little write-up with the pieces really makes it that much more enjoyable to look at your stuff, it's nice to have your comments about the piece RIGHT there when you're looking at it
 
Thanks guys. 🙂 I started reading the Predators and Prey arc of S8 recently, and much as I'm hating it, I do love the idea of vampires in the media. I mean, yeah, MTV would be first on the scene, but the Italian fashion houses would love the vampire style!

All your stuff is awesome, I really like your style, the Darla/Dru one is really cool, and I love the 'campaign' ones, look awesome and nifty concept!
 
Oh, it's been so long. But you know me by now; my days of frenetic banner making are long gone. Still, I do occasionally find myself tinkering in Photoshop.

Anyway, I only have one wallpaper today. You'd think after all that time I'd have more to offer, but I'm afraid not.

Can you guess who the subject might be? Hmm....
