Karma Points?

I've only recently started giving them (I'm a hard sod to please!). But it seems I can only give one is this because I have not done it many times and it will build up the more I do it or can I give more if I wanted?

I think when we switched over software the new karma thing starts everyone at one...I think you get more eventually but I'm not exactly sure what the levels are.
