Kate

I know! I was expecting something to happen between her and Angel or after the fact she got fired from the police department..I was kinda expecting her to go and help Angel and co.
 
She was okay didnt like her in season 1 she was okay in season 2 but i heard they had called the actress who plays her to come back a few more time but she was too busy beeing in another show so maybe we get to see kate in season 5 but i doubt it though
 
I didn't want Angel and Kate to get together, even though it was hinted they would. However, I liked the idea of a cop's perspective. Sort of how Daryl is on Charmed, but in Kates case, better used. Although, I dont think I would want her character back, what could she really offer to the show.?
 
I thought they'd end up together too...

I guess being a main character on another show is more important than being a secondary character on another. Hmph. Actors.
 
and actresses... 😀 I thought the same thing Argie. I'm disapointed that they never brought any closure to Kate's character. She losted her job, comited suicide, but didn't have much luck cuz Angel saved her, and we never hear about her again!!!
 
I didn't care for her. She was abrasive, and I couldn't see that she had much to offer beyond that. Kind of high maintenence, but not quite worth the trouble. I much prefer Gwen.
 
I never really liked her either. I thought she was a substitute for Buffy. A blonde female who could kick butt. She was annoying.
 
Even though she's committed to "Law & Order" (great show BTW), that shouldn't stop her from making one or two guest appearences.

Oh and she's not exactly a main character on "Law & Order" either. Her role as Kate and her present one on "Law & Order" are both secondary.
 
I agree that Kate's character was a substitute for Buffy's, and that if the writers got them together it would have been repetitive and dull. However, as much as i detested the character of Kate i thought as she was there for two seasons she was at least worthy of a credible exit, which in my opnion she didn't get.
 
I saw sumone today who looked very similiary to Kate. It was kinda exciting!

I didnt think much of Kate, but after watching S1 of Angel all the way through I dont mind her now!
 
I also disliked young Kate. She had no release. All of that anger and resentment toward Angel did not help matters at all.
I felt like she was about to explode at any minute.
Maybe she had a bowel problem or two? Could that explain the look of constipated anger in her face?

Sometimes I got an headache from just thinking about her character and all the things she went through
and had to deal with.

I am happy to see the back of that woman. yes its true. I often admired her pert bottom but thats not the point.
She was stale, she made the show stale when she was in it.

Goodbye Kate. Goodluck with the constipation. ::grrr2::
 
I'm probably a little biased on this - my best friend graduated from Sara Lawrence College with Liz Rohm (the actress who plays Kate). They were both theatre majors. Not to be a rumor mongor (which is what someone always says when they're about to do some rumor mongoring) but not only do I think Elizabeth Rohm isn't much of an actress (and therefore Kate isn't very interesting to watch), but she's also a pretty horrible person. Oh, the horror stories I've had to endure about her! Backstabbing, stealing other girl's boyfriends, using sex to get ahead....
On a lighter note, I've seen her college graduation picture. She had black hair, a longer nose and a bigger chin. When my friend first showed me her yearbook I refused to believe that it was the same person, until another friend who went to school with them confirmed it.
 
I really liked Kate in S1. But then she started to annoy me. I really enjoyed the scene where Angel told her he was sick of her blaming him for her father's death and everything (can't remember his exact words). I really liked that 😀

Even so, it would be interesting to have Kate return after she had gone through psychotherapy. Wasn't that was she was supposed to do after the police department had sacked her?
