I think Jewel is about a bazillion times hotter when she's not all done up. Those photos? Meh. Sort of generic Hollywood hot, if you ask me.

But I'm currently watching the bonus disc from the collectors edition of Serenity, and there's a few shots of the first book read where she's just her, without the pounds of makeup or the teased and moussed hair (why women with wavy hair feel the need to do that, I'll never understand) or any of that nonsense. And THAT is the hottest I've ever seen her. Smokin'.

I find when you first see her you dont think shes anything special, but she has a certain charm and adorableness that really sucks you in and grows on you.
 
I love Jewel, especially in Firefly. To be honest though, she has a wonderful figure. I honestly think she's the prettiest aboard Serenity with Summer running a close second.

I think she's definitely a very attractive woman...though I thought she looked far better with the extra 20lbs she put on in Firefly. Not that she wasn't attractive when she was thinner, but her face definitely wasn't as full.

I met her at a convention a couple of years ago and was shocked by how tiny she was. Curves are good, hollywood 🙂
