lol, Detroit Rock City, that's the one. At least I know we don't have the same taste in movies; if we did, I wouldn't watch movies any more, I couldn't allow myself to have something in common with you.

oh, and Buffy, that Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc, idea, kicks ass! 😀
 
Why don't you set up a viewing party group on Facebook, then invite all your friends and others to watch Dollhouse at a certain time.
 
Considering the new series low in ratings I think we should make this happen asap.

Starting with the collection of reasons why to watch the show (pls guys come up with something...surely SOMEBODY has an idea of what else to put on that list!), let's send the end date to Tuesday, 8pm GMT.

After we've done that we can start talking about who's going to take what part in the video, and what exactly we are going to do.



So you have time to send in your reasons to watch Dollhouse tilTuesday, 6 October, 8pm GMT .

Really people, don't be so shy about this and just post something. I don't think we can fill an entire video with 'Dollhouse has the hottest charaters'.
 
How about the psychological and ethical aspects of the show? Putting memories of real people in a doll's head to create a new person only to have that person wiped off again. I've never taken Psych but surely someone would be able to say a little more about that.
How it makes you not only enjoy an hour of televion but makes you think. About the questions it asks: Is it okay to use the dolls as sex toys when they won't even (or maybe because) remember it? To endanger their lives on missions? To put a sociopath with a god complex in such a powerful position where he can toy and do with a lot of people as he pleases?
Oh. Or with that episode where they put Adelle's deceased friend in Echo in mind, that a dollhouse could practically make you live forever.
It's late and I haven't really thought about what could be put down exactly but that's just the idea and steers away from the "hot actors" points 😉

I'm not really keen on talking too much in front of a camera but I'd do a short clip, like saying one of the phonetic names.
 
I say we do the video clips with the phonetic names and send the clips to somebody to edit. Since there may not be enought of us for all the names, we could take some clips from the show of them saying names like echo or whisky or november and such and then we say the other ones. If it's not illegal or something. So we've got people already saying that they will edit them. We all just need to agree on one type of video, and than get their email address to send them the stuff.

Just so we're all on the same page, the Alpha, Bravo, Charlie etc things are just dividers, we're only going to do a bunch of people saying the name for Tahmoh. The rest will be other reasons to watch the show.

Okay, now I'm confused.

Maybe I didn't make myself really clear, but right now (til today) was just brainstorming phase, so I don't think anyone has done a video yet...

Another reason I came up with is that Dollhouse has a wide diversity. Due to this whole imprint deal, actives can be anyone, leading to a whole wide range of genres being touched.

The next logical step is now to structurize the ideas we have had and then really talk business.
I will make a list with all the named reasons tomorrow, right now I'm just way too tired.
 
Let's try to get it up ASAP. I'm of the opinion that we just say how we feel, anything that comes to mind, and then send it to one person to edit etc.
It will sound more heartfelt, but also professional and not cheesy.

I think it would be way too difficult to list each thing that everyone should say.
