Keeping her secret safe

Well, what about that "ginger bread" episode. They made such a big deal out of two kids dying. I know it was just to make an episode, but what would be so special about them?
 
Yeah, well, wouldn't the parents also made a big deal that vampires were after their kids too?

I was wondering the same thing myself. I guess her secret couldnt be safe after all, not with the big bad evil a brewin' 😉

You know what came to mind though when I read this thread? At Buffy's Bday party in S2 and Oz see's Buffy dust a vamp. He asks if anybody else saw that guy turn into dust...well Xander and Will go to explain everything and then in turn he replied that it actually explained a lot...

Everybody probably kinda realizes that Sunnydale is different, a little strange but like all of you have said, nobody wants to admit it or face the reality of it all!

That and it its television...🙂

Most of Sunnydale population prefered to not know,not see and not hear anything....
 
The people of Sunnydale probably knew something was wrong but thought to themselves It's probably Nothing!

I guess it's just something Joss did. I don't think the show would have been good if everyone saw Buffy and was like "THERES THE SLAYER!" and things had to be done in front of people. so, i guess its just something Joss beat around the bush about.
 
... and plus Buffy was not one to keep a secret... well maybe a little but not like Kendra (If you remember Kendra was beating Buffy around the bush a bit about telling her friends she was the slayer)

you are right,..that was a big mistake
 
If Buffy would have never told her friends then the show would be boring and plus she wouldnt have had as much help and could have died.
