Kendra: What do people think??

I'm with the pro-Kendras on this one. I loved her! Loved the twist at the end of What's My Line Pt 1. The accent was hilarious and I used to say "a very dark power's abut to rise in SUnnydale" all the time! haha I think she was beautful also, which is also a major plus 🙂 haa The death scene with Drusilla was a very dramatic ending to a great episode and though I was upset with it, it added to the intensity. The introduction of Mr Pointy was a classic as was her banter with Giles, "All does footnotes!"
 
She had some great lines, but I think my all time favourite is:

Buffy: "I don't take orders. I do things my way."
Kendra: "No wonder you died."

Her delivery of that line is hilarious! It never fails to make me laugh!!!

I thought she was OK 🙂 Didn't hate her but didn't love her either 🙂 I found her kinda interesting, She was sooo different from Buffy, not just with her personality but how she was raised, I thought it was quite neat to find out that she knew she was a potential and she'd been training her whole life 🙂
 
Well I read a lot of " I like her " a few "I don't really like her but no I don't her!
So let's make the start. I don't like her becasue she is just like a soldier. DO what your watcher told you... this is so different to Buffy who questioned her own watcher and faith who turned away from her watcher. Kendra was a little bit naive. I hated this one t-shirt thing. She was never really important for the storyline. I don't miss her, that's my oppinion.
 
I actually enjoyed Kendra. I hated the accent with a passion but once I got past that it was fine. Her moments with Buffy were wonderful and I just enjoyed her time with us. I was actually sad when she died so...yeah.
 
She was OK. I didn't dislike her, but I didn't actually like her. Maybe if she had more time on the show. I liked the surprised you got the first time she came around though! But Faith was a much better co-slayer!

Great character. The accent was not so great. Was she meant to be Irish? I also think they could have done more with her. Then when they killed her off it would have been more sad.
 
Sorry, but I loved her. Okay, her accent was horrible, but she was the first slayer she has ever been in contact with, and Kendra showed Buffy just how good she's got it. She could've been in a worse situation. On the fun side:

"That's me favorite shirt. That's me ONLY shirt!"

Possibly one of my favorite quotes ever. 😀
