Ok, she hasn't even appeared on Buffy yet, but I feel like it's time to open a thread about Kennedy, she's one of the SIT, she is the oldest and she is gay. She is a possible love interest for Willow. Today I finally heard who is to play her, and the winner is: Iyari Limon. Okay I never heard of her either, she had some insignificant roles, check out her IMDB-profile here. Anyway after half an hour of surfing I finally found a picture ... TADAM!

ahhh!! she is def not what i expected....*runs of and cries* i dont want willow to be with her!!! i thought she was gonna be some badass faith-like girl!
 
That's what I was thinking too. I mean, nothing against Iyari Limon or anything, but she doesn't seem that...exciting for lack of a better word. I was expecting somebody completely different, but as long as Willow finds some happiness with her, then I'm all for it. I won't even mention a certain-you-know-who-guitar-playing-guy...for the time being.🙂
 
i miss tara!!! *cries*...i just don't think this girl is the slayer type....let alone willow's type...i dunno...i guess we'll have to see....i'm not liking her at all tho....no offense....
 
I think she looks interesting! At last a little more diversity in the cast! Hurrah! This is just a screen cap type picture, not a publicity still meant to evoke an image after all. If I had to say yay or nay based on this photo, I'd say YAY! An Asian Chick! YAY!
 
Okay I'm in for Asian, but it's not what I expected, but since Joss picked her, she's probably not that bad, remember that we all base our conclusions on one pictures. In which she doesn't look too good, but with a little help of the make-up division, she could pass ... though she's not a great as Tara!

I miss tara also. Damn Joss for not bringing her back this season!😡
 
It's not Joss' fault that Amber Benson couldn't come back. She couldn't reach a deal with FOX, so her character couldn't come back this season even though she was supposed to.
 
I don't really get this thing, how could she not get a deal closed with FOX? What does FOX have to do with this? They certainly have a strange way to put up contracts with shows!
 
The reason that it has to do with FOX is because FOX is what they call co-owners of the little show we all like to call Buffy the Vampire Slayer...haven't you ever wondered why when the show is over the FOX logo and music plays? just b4 or after Mutant Enemy or some such
 
Yeah I'm sorry but I'm not completly into the contracts, so I don't know what rights they do and don't have!
 
No it's not ... when Angel went Buffy, she went out dating again after the summer (okay, only a one-night-stander), but she had something serious starting with Riley short after, Oz left Willow and it didn't took her long to initiate her contacts with Tara. Xander was dumped by Cordy and he got a new girlfriend (Anya) in the same season. I think Willow could start new contacts by now, I'm not saying she haqs to jump in the bed right away,just some flirting and stuff!
 
Well, she's not what I pictured. I mean she doesn't even seem like Willow's type. But I guess, whatever the reason, if they get together, I suppose Willow might be happy. As long as she's happy.

They couldn't just bring back Oz, could they? No, of course not! That would have been easy. And what the fans wanted. But No! They have to introduce some new girl.

I think one of the reasons people didn't like Riley was because it felt too soon for Buffy to be in another relationship. As for Parker, I haven't heard of anyone liking that stunt, even SMG thought it was out of character for Buffy, but the almighty Joss pulled rank.

Anya and Xander dated a few times in season three, but they didn't become a couple until season four. And Cordy and Xander broke up pretty dang early in season three. Before Christmas.

As for Will and Oz....I won't go there.

But the thing is, Willow getting over Tara should take longer than any of the other breakups because Tara died so suddenly, and it was so devestating to Willow. I'm not looking forward to this new relationship, but we all know where my allegience lies anyway, so my opinion's a bit biased. But I hope you're right, Allycat, I hope it's not declared true love by the second week.

BRING BACK.....never mind.
 
Hahaha .... bring back ... whahaha ... sorry!

Anyway, sometimes, you can have a deep relationship and it may take you long to get over, (a half year seems pretty darn long to me) you never know when you meet somebody who will rock your world, if they are good for you they might give you the proper dose of other things to set your mind on, and the proper dose of time to get over. It's just not something that you can say by a rule, it will take you this or that long to get over, there's no formula
