Kenyan cow 'eats sheep'
A Kenyan farmer was reportedly shocked to find a cow had eaten one of his sheep after goring it to death.
The cow apparently developed a taste for meat - farmer Charles Mamboleo discovered another sheep's corpse the following day, despite giving the cow its usual food and water.
Mr Mamboleo, whose farm is in the south western Nakuru County, told the Daily Nation that his family had initially assumed the cow had been starving. It is believed to be the first incident of its kind in the region.
“After the first incident, we thought the cow was starving, so we increased the supply of fodder and water, but it still continued chasing after sheep," he said.
