Ive been going through some trying times recently, and i'm considering going on a Kibbutz to get away from things...i was wondering if anyone had been on one...or knows someone who had been on one.
A Kibbutz is a communal agricultural settlement in Israel, usually in a rural location. The "members" of the kibbutz are known as kibbutzniks. All property on the kibbutz is owned communally and all income generated is shared by the kibbutz. Some kibbutzim also have factories that produce anything from plastics to sprinkler parts. Meals are prepared in a communal kitchen and eaten in a communal dining room.
Ah right, sorta a turnip type of collective. We'll if that relaxes you go ahead. Personally I prefer the non turnip type of collective. More artistic and less beatrows.
Yeah but wouldn't isolation be more useful then? Cause then it's just you and you have to face yourself, when there's other people around I think it's easier to get draw into their worlds as well.
But this is isolation in a way...Im isolating myself away from the rigamorole of real life....while having to depend on people and have people depending on me.
You spend 8 hours a day 6 days a week(except saturday) working and depneding on which you pick, you could be alone for that time....
