Who's the board's best trivia king or queen? We'll soon find out...

Killerdwarf said:
This is a pre-post for the trivia thread that will appear in the next week or so. There are a couple of rules I'd like to lay down, so bear with me here. If you have any questions, post 'em here, or PM me, and I'll make something up...

1) One entry per dorm resident.

2) Anyone posting answers in an open forum will be disqualified for the current game. Answers will be PMed to the quizmaster, and the player will receive a mark out of 25 (25 questions per game!)...no correct answers will be posted until the contest closes!

3) Time limit for submitting answers is 3 weeks from the time the list is posted...or the next time I'm online after the two week limit...give or take a day or two...I'll be a bit flexible there!

4) I haven't officially approached any banner makers yet, but I'd appreciate any offers to make one for the winner. For sure, the winner wins the right to be the quizmaster for the next contest, if they so desire. There may be more, I'm working on it...

5) In the case of a tie, I have some tie-breaker questions (3 questions). If there is still a tie, it'll be 1 on 1, just like a soccer (football) shoot out!

6) Correctness of any answer is the at the sole discretion of the quizmaster, but if you can cite a source for an answer in dispute, the quizmaster will investigate and rule accordingly, depending on the integrity of the source. Guessing is most certainly allowed, and even encouraged! Remember, this is not a B/A trivia contest, although 3 or 4 of the questions in this one are B/A related...hehhehheh!

That's about it . The best way to PM an answer sheet is to highlight the question/answer post, then copy it to notepad, open a Private message window, and paste the post you copied in the PM window. Then go through and answer the questions in the space provided, and PM it to the current quizmaster (killerdwarf, for the first contest).

Good luck, I expect to have the questions posted sometime late this week, or early next week, barring any problems...

I'm thinking we should suggest to KD that the tie breaker be the first person who gets it in....that would reduce the cheating greatly I think...less time to look stuff up on the net...

Here they are the Official Killertrivia Questions...

Please read the rules first, then follow the instructions for PMing Killerdwarf your answers...it will work! This contest will close approximately December 5, 2004!
