Killing Themselves

Being insensitive to the feelings of others is never ok. Agree or disagree, everyone deserves respect in expressing their feelings. Losing someone you care for, no matter how it happened, is a delicate issue and should be treated as such.

Prophecy.. - Whoa, I can't believe you're saying these things (you don't have to think suicide is "right" but you could be a little sensitive to those who have lost their friends that way). So you have to be really strong and push your feelings away or deal with them in the right way to deserve to live in this world..? Or am I totally misunderstanding you?

My comments are insensitive. I said I have no pity on this issue. Was that not clear? I feel no reason to be sensitive to a bunch of people who killed themselves because they were weak. It is natures way however. The weak don't last very long. People who kill themselves are weak so in essence you're all right because they don't have a place in this world.

You've made it perfectly clear, we have to deal with your opinions on the matter, and you have to deal with ours which clearly differ from yours. Its not something that we will ever agree on because its obvious that we have different outlooks.

And again that is your point of view that people who kill themselves are weak and do not have a place in the world not ours. So no we are not 'all right because they don't have a place in this world.'

heh

Meh I'm all but done with this "debate" I haven't even given it half my attention and mostly find it amusing. But your comment drew me back in......I'm sorry but are you trying to make the case that people who kill themselves are strong?

What makes you strong? Because your happy with your life and at no period do you suffer from depression and a mix of emotions so strong that you feel you have no choice but to end your life?

Is being troubled a sign of weakness? To me its just part of human nature. As for being done, I know I certainly am. I've aired my opinions and I have no further interest to take part as I don't like to waste my time going round in circles.

To me, someone who seems to go through life without any issues or roadblocks is either delusional, fictional or seriously needs to rethink what they consider a strong person.

Overcoming our trials and tribulations is what builds our human strength. I'm sure along the way of even the greatest triumph, people have thought about given up.

Yar overcoming. suicide overcomes what?

You all seem to (in a very adorable way I might add) believe that I believe that no one goes through trials and the what not. I never said that or even implied that and as cute as the assumption was I'm wondering where it came from. :snake:
