Am I the first to notices, that this is a refference to the movie Pretty Woman, where the roommate, a hooker, of the main character is called Kit and her wannabe-pimp friend is called Carlos.
 
You know, I never caught that....speaking of Kit and Carlos, didn't it seem like they were going to be important when they first showed up?
 
Maybe I was just making things up 😉 When they first showed up, I thought Dawn was gonna have her own gang o' lil' scoobies...guess not.
 
i had the same thought jacklyn, i guess joss wanted them just in case dawn had a spinoff
 
Jacklyn - I only started thinking that because people kept posting it on the boards. Damn rumor starters!

I haven't ever watched the entire film of Pretty Woman. I'll have to do that now. Thanks for the tidbit.🙂
 
I thought they would of been more involved with Dawn but we only saw them the once.

I thought the same thing. I thought that Dawn was going to actually have friends her own age in this season but I guess not. Anyway, I didn't really like their characters anyway. They didn't fit in with the whole Scoobie type genre, it just didn't seem right that they were there.

That's really cool. I had never noticed that before, but now I want to know who named the characters!

How did you know this???

I don't think they should of been cut, I think it would of been good for Dawn to have them around. They shouldn't of been cut, Wood & sum Potentials should of been, hehehe!
 
I read in an article before season 7 aired that Dawn would have two friends who would be around named Kit and Carlos.
 
they mentioned kit in CWDP when shes talkin on the phone while waatching that movie at least i think
