OK, I need some help with something ladies.

I have have a friend we will call Fiona.

I've known Fiona for a couple of months BUT in the last 2 weeks I have spoken to Fiona on Facebook Chat for the best part of 2 hours almost everyday - before that not much at all.

Fiona has a best friend called Lisa.

Lisa and I are facebook friends but haven't seen each other for a few months and haven't spoken on FB Chat either.

Now Fiona and I are a little flirty but nothing more than I am with anyone here.

Tonight Lisa talks to me on FB Chat for the first time and asks me how I am.
Then asks who have I been talking to.

I tell her a couple of names including Fiona.

Lisa then asks me if I will be attending an event in a couple of weeks and ends with the line 'Fiona is going too'.

Can someone tell me what is going on🙂

I have my own thoughts but would like the insight of the ladies - I will give you more information if you have questions.

Get your coat, you've pulled ;)
Fiona wants to meet you, but didn't want to come right out and say it. So she had Lisa chat you up and find out if you're going, spicing the pot with an aside that Fiona'll be there, too....just in case you were undecided about going.

That's my take.

That was my take too - just wanted to see if a lady got the same impression being ladies and men rarely read the same things
Totally agreeing with SiT. I got myself into pretty much the exact same situation recently, although in reverse. But I was mean and annoying and waited until he came right out and asked me, lol, I can be a bitca sometimes.

But yeah, that's my take on it. Either Fiona doesn't want to ask you out herself, and she's hoping that a group setting might cause something to happen, or Lisa is acting on her friends' behalf 'cause sick of hearing Fiona whine about how much she likes you and not doing anything about it, so she's taken matters into her own hands.

Awwwww I think its nice if thats it
pretty much its deffinatly a case of fiona wants to meet etc but is too scared to ask herself so has got her friend to help her out by asking you to coem to an event that she will be at.

Ooh! Our EB has an admireress 😀

I agree with SiT and Lyri, but there's a third option: Lisa suspects something might be going on, without being sure, so she wanted to know how you reacted to be sure, which in effect isn't entirely different from Lyr's second option. Either way, you should definitely go to the event, because you might just happen to get very lucky ^^ (don't be dissapointed if nothing happens though, she might need some more time. Just be your charming self 😉)

What the ladies have said above...that's it. Fiona is interested but doesn't want to put herself on the line a.) to save face and probably b.) cuz she doesn't want to ruin the chats ye have been haing on FB.

So Al you have an admirer just in time for Valentines😉

Yeah, there's that, too. Like Buffy telling Willow that she can't wait for Xander to wake up and smell the hottie...make the first move! Well, Lisa made the first move, but same thing. The group situation is good too, it takes the pressure off. It's not like a real "date" where you're forced to be entertaining or whatever, you can relax.

AND, another point, obviously Fiona's been talking about you! Good things, I mean, LOL!

She is often telling me I am funny but she is Sri Lankan so doesn't do Valentines Day - which I am happy with as I hate it.

Should I actually have a GF, I would take the day off.
I don't need a card company telling me to treat my lady special one day a year - my lady would be treated like a princess the rest of the year.

Having said that, I'm not convinced I WANT to 'date' this girl.

V-day hatred karma :D
Well, that's where a group situation comes in handy again, then. You can safely decide if you want to take the relationship a step further, or just leave it as is, as friends.

Eaaaasy girls....
The guys is goint to meet a FB friend and you are marrying them xD

I say: go to the meeting, yeah, probably the girl wants you.. but! there´s always a but, the girls is shy so be prepared to talk more with Lisa them with her....and be aware that maybe this Lisa wants something too (you never know with women) and take a friend with you too, so he can be Lisa´s entertainment 😀 (if Lisa doenst have it already, of course lol) And just have a good time! :yay:

Wow. Why can't girls just come out & say what they are thinking or feeling? -smashes head on wall- I'm almost ashamed. But yes, she wants to see you. It's as simple as that. She's just using her friend to ask something she couldn't.
