When you think of countries you often think of the big landmarks they have like Sydney Opera House, The Statue of Liberty or Buckingham Palace, what landmarks have you been to and what ones would you like to see?
 
I went to the Statue of Liberty when you could climb winding stairs up to the crown. It shows how young I was (eight) that what I remember is how scary it was looking down from the resting chairs - which hung over the void, off the stairs - than how exhausting it was to climb up.😰

I've been to several national parks in the US and Canada, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Banff/Jasper. But I'm not sure if natural landmarks are what you mean. I tend to prefer seeing scenery to cities when traveling, so I'd love to see Iceland volcanoes, the Great Barrier Reef, or Scandinavian fjords. Wouldn't say no to Buckingham Palace, though!

I'd like to see Mount Fuji and the largest Buddha statue, both in Japan. My best friend is a Buddhist so we wanted to see that together.
 
Niagara Falls is the biggest draw around here, but it is a one and a half hour drive from here. I was once assigned to take a customer representative there who had come from Japan.

In Toronto, the CN tower is the main landmark and I have also taken a customer from Belgium there on one occasion. The have a rotating restaurant at the top but it's really nothing special.

The famous draw around here would be the St. Louis Arch. Been up it in twice.
I've been to Radio City Music Hall, The old Madison Square Gardens, The Empire State Bld., The Statue of Liberty (twice), Ellis Island, Yellowstone National park, the top of Pikes Peek , the Grand Canyon, Mt, Rushmore, Hoover Dam.......and many other places...Oh, and I've been to Canada and Jamaica. I also had the privilege of attending the 1964-65 Worlds Fair on several occasions during it's run.

I was very fortunate while growing up as my parents always made sure we had a some wonderful family vacations and wanted me to see all of the important places.
 
I would love to hike in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

My father's side is Irish so I would really love to go to Dublin and visit the Dublin market there.

I'd see them both but if you can only see one pick the Canadian side; and certainly if you do plan to see both see the US side first. The US side is rather boring in comparison. And some of the hotels on the Canadian side overlooking the falls are great.

Only place left that I'd like to see (in country at least) is White Sands.
 
Anyone goes to the Isle of Man, climbing up to the top of Snaefell is a must. Oh, and seeing the Laxey Wheel.
 
I've seen all the major touristy sights in London (From when I used to live there) & a lot of the old houses & Castles in the South.

I live about 45 mins away from Stonehenge so have been there a few times....& driven past it many more.

Would love to go to the Black Forest in Germany or see the sights in Japan.
 
I'd like to see the Great Wall of China, and walk a section of it.

I know people that went to see the pyramids in Egypt and were disappointed, so that put me off wanting to see those.

I've actually stayed overnight in the Old Fort Niagara which is near the falls (my grandpa was one of those re-enactors) 😳
