I know this might seem silly, but I think that last words on any show are VERY important, so I thought I'd go through the main characters, last word(s).

Buffy - ''Spike''
Willow - ''Yeah, The First is scrunched so"¦ what do you think we should do, Buffy?''
Xander - ''All those shops, gone. The Gap, Starbucks, Toy R Us"¦ who will remember all those landmarks unless we tell the world of them?'' (I thought this was the most stupid last line!)
Anya - ''Floppy. Hoppy. Bunnies'' (Who'd ever thought Bunnies would be Anya's last word!)
Giles - ''We have a lot of work ahead of us.'' (Typical Giles)
Spike - ''I want to see how it ends.''
Dawn - ''Yeah, Buffy. What are we going to do now?''
Faith - ''Yeah, you're not the one and only Chosen anymore. Just gotta live like a person. How's that feel?''

What do you think?
I would've NEVER thought Dawn would have said like the last words, ever...

Lol, I've never thought of this before. Four of the last lines are in the form of questions - all unanswered. How annoying is that? And also, Dawn may have had the last line, but Buffy got that little smirk in as the last scene which is just a world of words all by itself.😉

Buffy - ''Spike'' (Grrr SPUFFY!)

doesn't bother me!!!
And what was the second to last words that she said before it all ended... "I love you" to Spike!

I've always noticed that... I always thought she would've said something about getting to finally live her life or something, but this works too.

And Anya, with Bunnies. Never noticed that before. Very strange, yet fitting.

Well even though the last thing Buffy said was SPike it isnt that big of a deal to me seeing as though its not like it was her last thought, instead of saying what she was thinking she showed it by smiling.

I think the last lines say a lot about the characters, Giles and Xander's line's are so typical, even Buffy's is. (No saying she loves him, just she does care for him.) Allthough I think that wasn't Buffy's last line, I think that little smirk was, it said more then a thousand words could!

yeah,it doens't bother me anymore....the ''i love you'' was a lie,she loves angel...i'm fine now

LOL! That sounded kind of desperate...lol! J/K 😉 Lets not turn it into a Bangls VS Spuffy debate though ok guys? We have LOTS of other threads for that...

MS, I like that you are you! LOL! You rock...

I think the last lines were soo cool, but i dont think that Dawn did have the i agree with everyone else i dont think that Dawn had the last words i dreffinetly think that it was Buffy who got the last words (well not exactlly hehe 😛). But i just loved the part in the last scene when they just kinda zoomed in on her face and it revealed a little smirk. 😛

Sorry, I didnt mean to offend anyone by putting Grrr Spuffy.
Its just Im a bigger Bangel fan is all.
I'll change it now 😉

I think Xander's last line was typical xander-speak. which was great since Andrew stole a lot of his lines in s7!

i never really realised that "Spike" was Buffy's last line. all the hubbub from evryone else, i just assumed she said something else too.

I SERIOUSLY hope that she's in Angel s5 for at least 1 ep!

Xander - ''All those shops, gone. The Gap, Starbucks, Toy R Us"¦ who will remember all those landmarks unless we tell the world of them?''

Yep! Typical Xander! lol. Made me laugh tho at such a tragic time!

Totally hated xanders last words...that was so stupid. It was great that Buffy's was spike, but I think that she should have said the last line of the show, It shouldn't have been dawn!
