Faith: Hello,I don't really know what my sister did(she doesn't want to talk about it and this thread is very long and confusing) but I just want to say that whatevr it was,she did it,not me. If you ban her,you'll ban me too.
I may not be popular or active like she is,but I'm a member here and I didn't do anything,do I deserve to be baned?.
I really like this board,I don't want to be delated.
I read what she said about you. I don't know you very well so I don't know if she made up everything or not,but I'm going to tell you that she is just like that;too stuborn and very cruel sometimes.
I remember when she registered,she told me she loved this place but felt a little left out because she couldn't speak english very well. I feel the same way and that us why I don't post often,I don't understand the half of the posts,it's not very nice,I feel like an idiot. I imagine she felt the same way,but she didn't do what I do(be a lurker),no,she worked hard to learn english and become the present Magui that everyone love. As I said I don't come here often but I only has to sign in for a few minutes to notice how important she is. Buffy is what it is thanks to every member,but Magui is not just a normal member,she's more than that,she's the heart of Buffy Boards. If you take off the heart,you'll kill your own site.
Sorry for the english mistakes.

Seeing your daughter cry because of a site is very disturbing.
What Nano said is true, this site means a lot to her.
She is the kind of person that always stands out, in the real life she is very popular and has a lot of friends, but none of them are as important as her friends from here are.
Sometimes I think she loves this site more than me and I am her mother.
She spends about ten hours online per day, there has to be a very good reason, well, this site is the reason.
At the begining, a few months back, I thought something was wrong with her, this kind of behavior is not normal; but I was wrong, she loves Buffy Boards and its members, there is nothing wrong with that in my opinion. Her marks are excellent as they have always been so I don't see what's wrong about letting her do what she likes.
Last night, I came back home and my son told me she was crying in her bedroom. I went to see her to ask her what the trouble was. She said she wanted to die. I've never seen her so depressed, she is always happy, I got very scared. After talking to her for a while she told me what happened. To be honest, I thought it was lame, you can't wish to die because of a site, but she is a peculiar girl, because she did want to die. I didn't know what to do to make her stop crying. She said her life was over. Over?. God, she isn't even 16, she has no idea what real troubles are, but I now realise that this web site is everything for her.
This might mean nothing to you Faith, you ban her and move on. But she won't be able to move on, I know that because I know her.
She mentioned the rules, I'm not going to say anything about that because rules are rules, but life isn't a court. Everything can't be based on rules and you can't expect everyone will follow each rule becuase we don't live in Utopia.
No one is perfect, that is what makes us human beings.
If you prefer following rules to opening your heart and seeing you'll break something more important than a rule, then you shouldn't study law.
Law exists to make things fair and equitable. I suppose you know what equity means, it means to give everyone what they deserve (which doesn't mean give everyone the same). I will tell you what Magui deserves: a second chance.

First-I totally agree with that Magui's Mom,you're completley right,and secondly,I hope Magui's ok,she has always been a great member here,she loves it here,I dont see why she should leave after making a mistake,Mags-please feel better,we all love you!! 🙂

We all hope mags is ok i dont talk to her much but i agree magui has givin alot to this site and everyone knows her she is a great person who might bend the rules just a tad expecially when talking about david but who can blame her sometimes you just gotta go offtopic for him 🙂 but she shouldn't leave none of us want her too and if she gets banned then its like half of BB dies..

I guess the rule in particular which is:
Pming members asking to join another board is considered spam, fair enough this may not be made clear but the rules will be revised to make things clearer. You might think that it is a simple thing, just trying to help a friend, but in all my time on this site I have seen too many people do the exact same thing, the site is not free advertising.
Regarding the comments about posting Buffy.nu - all that was said is it really necessary to post them everyweek, and if you wanted to post them do it in Caritas as its not Buffy/Angel related news.
As I stated in my first post, and was quoted by N4H, never did I say Magui was to be banned, it was being discussed, even the fact of was it necessary. Now I will state this again Magui is not being banned.
Its all fine and well saying I will ban her and move on, this is not the truth, in the years that I have been doing this, on all the boards I think we have banned around 3 people its not something we do easily or something we get a kick out of.
I can understand why Magui said those things earlier on in the thread, and posted similar threads in the help forum, its not something I would do but everyone reacts differently, and i'm not upset about the comments she made about me because she has only really known me for a short period of time, and there are few here who truly know me. That aside, I don't offend easily and don't hold grudges.
I tried to talk to Magui on MSN about this from the very beginning, to explain everything but she was upset and didn't want to chat.
The reason I did not post earlier is because I had a bad case of the flu which made me have some fits, I was not in hiding or anything like that. Normally I don't come online when im ill but I wanted to clear this up and this was the first chance that I could get.
Magui you are welcome to stay i've told you this, but in the end its up to you.
