For all my fellow Trekkers on the boards, I just saw this. Let's all keep Mr Nimoy in our prayers and hope for his speedy recovery.

Whether you're a fan of Star Trek or not the guy is just a legend. Such a perfect performance as Spock and he has written, directed and starred in so many other cool things. Seems a class guy too. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I was a ST fan back when that was the only ST - during the first run. I went to fan run cons back when the goal was fun and not money. I met a few of the stars but not him. It was a bitch to lose Mark Lenard and De Kelley, as well as the others. I don't think I'll ever be ready to lose Nimoy.

Hopefully he's already filmed his scenes for the new Star Trek. That would suck if they had to changed the script again. Would have been I think the 3rd time for this movie alone.

Let's start up Project Genesis, send him via rocket to a barren planet, terraform the planet and wait for him to return. It would be almost like a Whedonverse character who dies and finds it a bit inconvenient, so he comes back.
