I LOVE THIS.
I just watched it again on tv.... and every time, no matter how many times Ive seen it, it makes me feel like it did the first time..... when you have no idea what's goin on, and the first is changing from big bag to big bad, and then finally buffy, ending with its about power.... It always makes me excited it. Maybe I'm a totally loser, haha, but it made me so excited, and confused wen I first saw it. This is why I love this show..... its freaking genius.

Yeah, that scene is awesome! And so is your banner. :)
"It's not about right or wrong, it's about power."

I used that line in an essay on Nietzsche actually, it got to me that much. The scene when the First shifts into former big bads is chilling though, easily one of the best moments of the season.

I know what you mean. I, too, rewatched it again and again in the beginning. I love these kind of stuff. This scene also prepares us for the greatness... or so I thought, because it failed me, this season. I expected for an amazing season just because of this scene.

I love that scene so much. And it's so true, you know? In like a thousnd different ways "it" is about power. And "it" is about a thousand different things.

it made me do that snobby thing i do with buffy because when i first watched it my friend had only started watching the old seasons so she didnt know who a few of them were and i was all 'omg thats glory and DRU!!' hehe i know so bad but 😀

Funny that you mention it. I watched Lessons just yesterday!

This scene also reminds me of the ending of Two to Go where Willow says "I get it, now. The Slayer thing really isn't about the violence. It's about the power. And there's no one in the
world who has the power to stop me now."
I just love the Season 6 finale!

BAM! freakin hell its Giles :D
It takes me back to Checkpoint, where she tells the council that she has it, they don't, and it bothers them.

Yeah, it's actually all connected. Checkpoint, Willow to Buffy in season 6, the beginning of season 7, and I think it's been said in many ways throughout the last season. Seems like it really is all about power 😀

I love that scene. I love that speech. Things like that, being said from her mouth, really stucked in my head. You know, from time to time I know to remember some of the greatest speeches from Buffy, and they help me, big time.
