I think that's an interesting theory you bring up. That maybe Spike will be the actual Big Bad. So he's crazy now and seeing all these baddies that are telling him to do things...

The only problem with that is when he says he tried to cut his heart out. That says to me he's being driven crazy by feeling the guilt and pain of what he did as a vamp. So that makes me less inclined to think he could be the bad guy.
 
ques....isn't anyone wondering why spike was there in the first place? if memory serves, he does live in a crypt right? clem just be crypt sitting for too long....lol
 
Hello everyone, i know this has nothing to do with nothing but , does anyone know what happned to the fan forums???

SPike kicks butt.....im starting to think that buffy is going to ask him to live in her basement now for sure i dunno

And yeah I heard that spoiler about living in Buffy's basement, but I am thinking they got it wrong in that he's living in the basement of the school.
 
You dont know about fan forums?? its a website that talks about every single show.... its really cool and they have a great buffy and angel message board.... so i usually always go there, but they've been down for the last couple of days so i was wondering if anyone else goes there. If you wanna check it out, maybe its just my computer that wont let me in... its forums4fans.com.....

The reason i say that about buffys basement because i heard that buffy tells spike that he has to leave there because its making him crazy so im thinking maybe she suggests it then ?

IF they make dawn the new slayer I will be royally pissed,,,, if SMG is not going to do it anymore the show should just end gracefully no continuing its been on for so long the old original fans like myself will not go for that, im totally not for that, its the stupidest thing ive ever heard.... dawn i dont even like her character..... whatever, im sure joss will do the right thing and end it alltogether
 
Do you guys particularly like Kit and Carlos? LIke I said earlier, I loved the ep, but I didn't like Kit and Carlos. They looked like juvenile delinquents (sp?). I dunno. I know you can't judge someone by their looks, but they were just kinda blah. Hopefully their characters will be developed soon. 😀
 
I really liked the episode. I thought it was a nice departure from the horrible depressing time that was Season 6. I'm glad they're going back to funny happy strange old Buffy roots. I hope they can play out the new high school thing well because those were the best Buffy years in my opinion. And I was just grinning ear to ear when Giles was saying in the end how in the end we are who we really are and we see Xander all businessed up. I hope he doesn't go all cooperate on us and forget his wonderful stupid jokey roots. The beginning was weird but hey just think about Wild at Heart, Spike became one of the most important storylines of the season. The shapeshifting thing was cool and strange and we saw Dru again, YAY! I thought the principal was really cute. Kit and Carlos were ok, I liked Kit better but I say give them time to prove themselves. All in all a very nice start to a *hopefully* better season.
 
Ok, so I cheated and downloaded it! 😀 They think I'm waiting til January??!! lol, anyway, I loved the episode, it's great to have the whole idea of back to the beginning again with this series. You can't beat the first three seasons in my opinion. I also agree with some past posts that Angelus should have been the big bad at the end of the episode instead of Dru. Can't wait to see what's in store next!
 
I'm curious to how perceptive this new villian was about Spike. I mean, it said a lot of things that only each particular Big Bad knew. For instance, Drusilla was reminding Spike about the songs they used to sing, and Adam called him Hostile 17. How did this villian know about those particular details? Is it really a Shapeshifter? Maybe it was just Spike's conscience? Another theory I heard from other fans was the possibility of this new evil to be the First Evil. You know, from "Amends?" I agree with Evie9275. In terms of this episode, the only thing I dislike is the fact that they're introducing a new generation of Scoobies, plus centering everything around Dawn. Buffy's the protagonist and it should stay that way.
 
the story was all right...the beginning with buffy training dawn was kind of funny. i was really on for spike and his storyline now (btw, i sort of like the messy hair do going on 😉 ) and i look forward with his struggle with his soul. and seeing the other characters was cool....i look forward to this season! 😉

as adam the "shapeshifter" called him 'number 17', as opposed to 'hostile 17', which was kind of strange, since he was never called 'number 17' before, and adam always called him 'spike' anyway.

and i don't think it was spike's conscience because he never actually met mayor wilkins. and even if he did meet him off screen when he was in sunnydale in season 3, he did leave town pretty fast so he wouldn't have known all those details about him.
 
I too couldn't wait till January so I downloaded it. I loved it, I'm trying not to think to much about what might happen coz I want everything to be a suprise.
 
Eh.....I'm not sure how I feel about the whole Spike thing, although I'm a shiny happy person so I like complex stories as long as there is hope of happiness 😉

The whole Talisman thing was a bit outta there. I agree it was kinda Blaire Witchy.

LOVED the comedy - especially the "mom hair". I know how she feels - when I stopped getting carded at bars, I was offended!
