Something I am ridiculously excited about and I need to share it with my fellow Buffy people that will 'get it".
So! Here I am a 30 year old grown woman with kids and my dream of starting a collection of Buffy related stuff is finally coming true! LOL.
I have been on the fence about the Buffy comics for awhile and I decided after I purchased the first two issues of season 8 while at the Tulsa Wizard World last year that I was going to get every issue to add to my collection.
Well I finally went comic store shopping the other day to pick up more issues, and I hit one store with no luck of finding any Buffy comics. *sigh*
So I went to the next closest store and went to exploring and again had no luck. BUT! As I leaving, the lady at the counter wished me a good day, and when I turned my head to thank her....omg! What else would she happen to have but three huge stacks of Buffy comics she was sorting through! It was fate, I am telling you! LOL
So naturally I do the overjoyed freak happy dance and exclaim how pumped I was to find those. I grabbed the first 20 issues after 1&2 that were all priced at 2.99 and she gave them to me for $1 each.
I haven't decided if she cut me a deal because she felt sorry for how geeked out I got over it or because my happiness radiated happiness and generosity her way LOL Either way...I am super excited about it. I now know where to go to purchase the rest of them 🙂
And so my little collection grows.
