I asked my good friend the other day what his favorite pretend game was (or is) and it started me thinking what other people played growing up or still play! 🙂

So dish it out -I wanna play pretend...
 
I watched Kill Bill last night and i was running around the house pretending to be Uma........much to my flatmates amusement/dismay!!
 
Oh man, this next statement is REALLY gonna date me now, lol.....but as a kid my fave pretend game was playing THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN with my friends. 😛 I loved that show!
 
When i was little my best friend and i we pretended too be sisters, and we said that we where seperated at birth,(we looked NOTHING alike 😉) and our real mom she lived in Bergen(it's a city, on the other side of norway, then the town we come from)

oh, my boy friend and i pretend that we are turist when we go to visit our home town, we speak with acsents, and pretend to speak a laugish LOL it's fun

lol after the watchin the Matrix...lol I tried to do Kung Fu didnt go down tooo well...When I was lil i used to always play pretend with my best mate..
 
I pretend being a character quite a lot,but when I was little and noone wanted to talk to me/noone was home I pretended that in the wall was my best friend and we talked a lot.....
 
Ok, this is really sad and I can't believe I'm telling everyone this.....but does anyone remember the Power Rangers....well, that's what me and my friends used to play.

I like to pretend that I'm in Spike's crypt and he's got this big...oh, wait a minute...

Um, well, when I was little I would dance around everywhere like I was in Saturday Night Fever! Yes! I was a disco dancin' freak! Ok, so it was just this morning but it wasn't scary or anything...well, not untill I was pretending to be an interperative dancer doing the dance of the flamingo mating habits...THAT was a little wierd...

I also loved pretending I was Snarf from the Thunder Cats...

HAHA, this thread is quite humourous. I randomly get hyper once watching Buffy, Angel Charmed etc, my mum is just in my ear saying 'Don't be so silly'. I find it enjoyable, LOL.

Your not alone on the Power RAngers bandwagon, that's what I used to play when I was younger as well.

i totaly forgot about that! my best friend, and our brothers used to do that too, i had totaly forgotten.. thanx jules!
 
I still play pretend Matrix with my friends when we're fooling around. (they assigned me Neo). I would have prefered Agent Smith.

We also played Resident Evil. One of us is the infected guy and the others are survivors and we would slowly get killed off as we get bit, or run out of 'fake' ammo.

I guess you could compare it to 'Lava Monster' or 'Mud Monster', whatever you people like to call it.
 
Your pretend games are great. I luv to hear that you guys still play pretend.

I laugh when I think back (and what I currently say) when playing pretend. I would always say pretend...and then something crazy like...I'm 26 and my name is Katie-I always had to emphasize the fact that I was "playing pretend" by saying it all the time! lOL I don't know, I probably sound crazy.

I used to play mermaids in the pool, of course -house, shipwrecked (in and out of the pool), I used to play Howard the Duck and lots of other movies/shows. I don't know all sorts of crazy things, playing pretend is so fun! Thanks for sharing!
 
Mermaids!!!!Me too- my friends always had to rescue me coz I was their princess😉I really liked being injured or nearly dying it those games...Of course I or someone else would save me in the end...
