Let's Pretend It Didn't Happen

I'm sure we all have moments that we wish didn't happen in Buffy and Angel. So just for fun, if you could remove something what would it be. A storyline, a character, a piece of dialogue, uh, a haircut.😕

Also I know you can't remove something without effecting something else, but don't think about that, just remove what you don't like - consequences be damned. 😀

Spoiler Warning: This covers all seasons, so there will be spoilers.

Mine. 🙂

Angel
. The episode " Inside Out ", I hate it and it diminishes all of the characters.
. Angel's order for Lorne to kill Lindsey.
. Lilah's death, simply because I missed her 😀

Buffy
. Rhona, just get rid of that tool. 😀
. Dark Willow.
. A line in empty places that Buffy aims at Faith. "Did you tell them how you used to kill people for fun? Hey, you guys think that's nifty?". I hate that line. I'm on Buffy's side but I think Faith takes too much crap from her at times. At least she tries to change.
. Anya becoming a vengeance demon after Xander leaves her.
. Veruca. Never liked her.
. Giles going to England when Buffy needs him.
. And this won't be popular, but, Season 8 - keep " No future for you ", lose the rest.

Angel
-Cordy giving birth to Jasmine
-Connor being born (he's almost as bad if not equally annoying as Dawn!)
-Doyle dying so soon.
-Lilah's death

First thing, Connor is spelled with an 'O' not an 'E'; secondly, all this Connor hate makes me extremely sad. If Connor and Dawn were removed for the series, I wouldn't be half as interested in the shows.

-Spike's attempted rape of Buffy
-Season 6 in general

ANGEL
-Fred and Gunn splitting up
-Doyle dying so soon
-Connor leaving the show after season 4

And Kennedy. I'd get rid of her whole character... I don't feel like she brought anything to the group at all they couldn't have found elsewhere other than the annoying rich girl "I get what I want and I'm the boss of everybody" act.

Also in Angel I'd remove the Cordy and Connor love affair and as a result Jasmine.

This is off topic, but whatever...

I liked Spike's ambiguity, but I think if they were going to do the AR, they should have made him consistently evil before that, not screw with our heads, making us think that a soulless vampire could possibly be good, before taking it all back.

Oh, and I want to add Fred to the list of things I pretend never happened.

The last 2 or 3 season of Buffy were bad ... and the comic season 8 is, well, comical. I wish we could wipe the slate clean and start over.

Aside from that .... I was never big on the Willow/Xander romance in Season 3.

Wow there is lots of Connor/Dawn hate. Don't get me wrong Dawn annoyed me plenty at times but she served a purpose and shes cool in s7. She's Buffys sister and Buffy grows up alot because of Dawn so getting rid of her would have gotten rid of a lot of Buffys Character development. And same goes for Connor and Angel. Also a lot of people don't seem to get or maybe just dont care what Connor went threw growing up in a hell dimension. I think he has the right to whine a little. Ok rant over lol.

- The Beast dying from Angelus stabbing him from behind(another lame moment).
- Whole Jasmine arc at the end of season 4.
- Eve ever existing... *blarf*
- Eve + Lindsey(UGH!)
- Cordelia leaving the show.
- The whole lameness of the Circle of the Black Thorn(decent villains for a last season please?).
- That we never saw the SPs.
