Angel:
- Fred's arrival, and having both Gunn and Wesley after her, splitting up Gunn and Wesley's amazing bromance. She wasn't that amazing!
- Eve. A poor poor replacement character for Lilah. Who, by the way, should've at least made an appearance in S5. She could've worked for the Black Thorn via WR&H or something.
- Lorne killing Lindsey. Whut?!

Angel: Connor (though I didn't mind him in season 5)

Buffy: Kennedy
Season 8---The Dawn storylines (giant, centaur, etc.) and Buffy/Satsu

Oh, I love it too as an episode, but still, it was one of the saddest episodes of Angel I'd seen! Especially the ending! Ahg, Wesley crying still gets me!

On that account, lose "Amends", too. One of the most boring eps, IMO. *ducks from a horde of attacking Bangels 😛 *

Also, Fred's soul being annihilated by the transformation into Illyria. :bawling:

If that didn't happen then we wouldn't have the whole Angel series, so I cannot agree with you there 🙁

There's not really much I'd want to change. Everything that happens contributes to the development of the characters and the show, so...

I'd get rid of:
-The attempted rape. I'd still like Spike to get his soul, but I wish it hadn't happened in this way.
-Season eight.
-Riley.

That's about it. 😀

On Buffy:

1) The entire episode "As You Were." It served no purpose whatsoever other than to provide a reason for Buffy to deliver the line, "I can't love you, and it's killing me. Goodbye...William," which could have been done just as easily and been just as in context if Xander had come blundering into Spike's crypt just like he did in "Gone," and ALMOST caught Spike and Buffy.

2) Tara's death.

3) Kennedy. In any shape, form, or fashion, unless she played a female ubervamp.

4) Spike's death at the end of "Chosen." My idea of a much better finale would have been Buffy, after she finally came to terms with the fact that she really was in love with Spike, (who has kept the ring of Amara all this time, hence the sun doesn't bother him at all) with her arms around his neck, looking intently (and quite passionately) into his eyes and whispering, "Wanta help me build an army?" Then kissing him before he can answer. The camera would pan around to Giles, who is watching disapprovingly and turning slowly purple in the face. (Fade to black) Now THAT would have been a happy ending for the series.

On Angel:

1) Angel setting up his base of operations in Los Angeles. If he really wanted to separate himself from all temptation of being with Buffy, he shouldn't have relocated within commuting distance of Sunnydale, especially when there was a perfectly good hellmouth in Cleveland just begging for a champion to patrol it.

2) The entire Cordy and Connor/Jasmine part of Season 4. In fact, pretty much all of the last two seasons of the show should have been different.

3) Darla being Connor's mother. Cordy would have been a much better choice.

4) The entire 5th Season. (Since Spike was off helping Buffy build that army, most of the really good stuff for that season wouldn't have happened anyway)

I agree with you him coming back from Hell was really lame. But, well, it was done solely to give him his own series some day. *shrugs*

Now I do agree that "Amends" was boring and pointless.
