Ray Harryhausen was such a legend; this is a great GIF! I love watching movies like Sinbad and Jason and the Argonauts. I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say he pioneered stop-motion animation. We wouldn't have the likes of Aardman & Laika, amongst others, without him.

It occurs to me...one time this guy got me a movie called Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation or some such (NC reviews it here ) and I laughed myself to tears watching it. (Just so you know, I didn't know anything about the story before watching it, my only exposure to that was seeing the arcade game in some pizza parlor I'd gone to and remember thinking that the blood on the ripped out spine of some fight loser looked a lot like the sauce on my pizza, so I was WTF all while watching this. 😳 ) And then after my partner got home, I had HER watch it ("you're into martial arts, you should love this") and laughed all over again, this time at the expressions on her face as she saw it. 😀

Good special effects couldn't have saved it, but the incredibly CRAPPY effects made it even more hilarious, so I'm glad that as long as the movie was made that the effects were so crappy. 🙂

This is actually one of my favourite films. 😂 It was cheesy as hell, but I couldn't look away. Worst acting ever. The evil mother with the white streak in her hair was probably the worst actor in the film. And that's saying alot. No, wait...the dude with the long white hair was pretty bad too. 😎

I think the Asian guy had to fulfill a quest or something....I've forgotten. [I THINK Brian Thompson made an appearance) It was fun to watch, like ages ago.
