Levin Poised to Resign

You're right of course, Ana. In fact the spoiler on the scoop is, it just concerns Buffy Animated.

Still...wouldn't it be wild - an Angel recall? Or failing a recall, how about a spin-off.

Hey, maybe, it's time to rev up the Save Angel engine again.

I'm wholeheartly for a good-non-Spike-or-Wes-centered-spinoff...it'd be amazing to know what happens after 'Not fade away'..or maybe not..maybe we should let our imaginations play?

maybe we should let our imaginations play?

We're happy because a man lost his job?. He made a terrible mistake but we all make mistakes.

Let's just hope Garth Ancier will help us, the fans. Angel movies perhaps?

I think we're happy because he thought he would bring in the big and more "respectable" vampire show with the guy from ER and West Wing involved, didn't listen when we spoke very loudly about what a mistake it was and then his new show sucked so badly, he had to resign. He hurt us and so we are lashing out. Not exactly admirable but definitely human.

And according to some friends who have been to see JM recently, he has repeatedly mentioned (3 times during one convention) the very likely possibility of a Spike movie (since DB has said he won't do tv again as Angel). and since Joss loves Amy, I know Illyria will be there too.

So I third that Woo Hoo!!!!!

David didn't say he won't play Angel on TV ever again. If an Angel movie is really gonna happen he might do it.

I don't know. The way I remember it, in the latter interviews at least, DB was pretty clear about the fact he was specifically talking about a theatrical release of Angel. If I'm wrong please correct me with a quote.

To be honest, when I was mentioning the possibility of a WB Angel recall or spin-off, my tongue was in my cheek (means telling a tiny fib with a smile on my face, for English as a second-language people). I knew the TV Guide scoop wasn't going to be anything major. Any "scoop" in TV Guide is always at least a week old.

Here's another thing. I've heard others on other boards say, they wouldn't want Joss to return to the WB, and they doubt he would. They think it would be selling out. Wouldn't bother me, as long as I got to see more Whedonverse, but some people feel that way.

I think you are right about DB. And even though I was really angry with him at first, I would be standing in line all night long for another installment of Angel - in any form. And I don't care who airs it. If the WB does, it means that they are acknowledging their mistake so, in a way, Joss wins. I just want more...more...more!!!! And as much as I enjoyed Firefly, it is not the same. As long as it takes place in the original slayer/vampire Jossverse, I'm there!!! And nerd4hire, we again think so alike.

Justice is served, Justice is done... 🙂

BTW that "NUMFAR, DO THE DANCE OF JOY" quote made me laugh outloud. That was just classic.

Sewerstars

hey,

someone mentioned "Sewerstars". I saw that show and I thought it was actually funny. I am a little surprised that Jamie did not pop the host in the mouth after finding out it was a joke, but $100,000 is a nice consolation. I might do that. if we're so pissed about Levin, why not do a Mary-Sue fanfiction where Angel fans give him what for? 🙂
