Potential
Random, but I wonder if Ford knew Angel was a vampire ?
When he shook his hand he said "woah, cold hands"
Anyway, thoughts on Ford..
I think he has seen too many vampire movies.
Getting spike to say "you've got thirty seconds to convince me not to kill you." and knowing the lines of the movie that was playing in the bomb shelter.
When he told Buffy about his illness, to get her to feel bad for him, was also something he needed a reaction from.
It is too bad that he had to be sick and I do understand that he wanted to "live".
I don't think that him sacrifising other peoples lives is not right, he might have had an in, but those people were innocent.
On a final note, I also have a question about this episode.
At the end, when Buffy said she needs to go back to get the body, I know she's talking about Ford, because we see the body.
When Buffy and Giles are in the cemetary standing above a grave, it is Ford's right ?
When he rises and Buffy stakes him, she does it so without a care at all, like she didn't even know him.
That's why I was wondering, or did Spike just end up killing Ford and didn't bother turning him ?
