I was talking about this earlier on today, since I'm a huge Stargate & Star Trek fan, I looked at what some of the actors were doing today, and how much older some of them looked, even though it doesn't seem like 5 minutes since I was watching the shows weekly on T.V.

It got me thinking though just how much time has gone by since then and how quickly it is going by.

Looking at your lives so far, do you wish you had done more up until where you are now? Or has time just been unkind? It's not hard at all for me to imagine that even in 20/30/40 years even, I'll still be watching Stargate and all of that, but I know that even thinking about it now, I'll be saying then how quickly it has gone by.

Time really does fly by, I completely agree!! But I feel that for a 21yo, I've lived quite a lot of things, possibly more than others (and admittedly less than some also), but overall, I think I've done good use of my time. If anything, life has been unkind to me, but time seems to always fix things 😛

I'm still young though, I think I may change my mind in a few years, but for now moving on is good!

Agree. I think it gets to us more that we constantly think of the things that we want to do, and things that are attainable, but still difficult to do, and we worry that time will run out and by the time we have the ability to do the activity, it's to late.

I agree, the best thing to do is to make sure your always achieving something, no matter how small 🙂

I have to admit that I have a lasting propensity to almost always look back, even when I know it's pointless. There absolutely is a place within me that regrets not taking advantage of opportunities I had in the past, of passing by the road not taken. No matter what I seem to do, really, that presence is always there.

But I do try, every day, to keep moving forward, even though it can be difficult. I'm the type of person who always needs an objective, it seems. I always need to be working toward something. I find that helps me from looking back all the time.

Oh I don't know, I'm too busy to think about it I guess lol! 3 kids and a job will do that to you! 😉

We just celebrated our 15 year wedding anniversary. So sure we spent time looking back and reflecting but we have a lot of life in front of us too. I try to enjoy everyday but there are times when that's hard. I'm someone who slips into depression easily and can get overwhelmed when I'm dealing with grief, but I have a great support system and pretty much know what I need to do to deal with it.

Yes, there are things I wish I would've done. Some if those things I still could do (maybe even more so since I have more financial means than I did when I was younger), some I don't really care about anymore, & others I genuinely regret. Like not studying overseas during college.

Congratulations on your anniversary 🙂

I think we probably all regret things that we haven't done, as much as things that we have done and wish we could change.

I'm pretty similar,I think I look forward to the future more, but I worry that the things I plan to do or want to do, that the opportunity won't come about and then the chance will be gone.
