The Chosen
Time is all around
This'll be a tale about a Slayer named Belle. She was activated in 2003 with all the other Slayers, and this is her tale... (Tell me what ya think! 🙂 )

1.01 - And Wolf Splits the Night
Written by TC Summers
I'm not stuck up, I swear.
Belle Staedler moved swiftly in the dark night. She artfully dodged her way around cars and trucks and SUVs as she made her way through the parking lot just outside of Applebees. She found it ironic that she was supposed to track down a "fancy" werewolf and the place she took him was Applebees.
See? You think I'm stuck up. I'm not. Applebees is cool, my boat gets a general floatation from this place. It's just...well...
Belle brushed a crumb of food off her dark trench coat as a gentle breeze flew by; her dark hair fluttered. She glanced up and squinted her brown eyes at the sight of the blazing, full moon. Her light skin seemed to have an almost blue-ish tint in the night.
At that exact moment, Belle's mind was bombarded with the high pitched shrills of a woman in danger. Her head snapped back just in time to see a woman she recognized from the restaurant. Only, she was with a man inside... Where was her husba--
Oh.
Belle leaped onto a Chrysler and launched herself from the roof. Just as Were-Hubby had shoved his wife down onto the hood of a Pontiac Grand Am, Belle's foot connected with his face. Were-Hubby flew back and into the a lightpost. It reverberated with a low humming noise. Belle knelt and pivoted towards the woman.
"You okay?"
The woman's wide eyes and quiet whimpering from a scrape on the pavement proved to Belle that she was coherent enough to recognize pain. Belle stood up and faced the wolf. She dipped her hand behind her flowing trenchcoat and into her back pocket and brought out a clear tranq gun.
"Bark, Lassie!"
Aiming at Were-Hubby as he started to charge, Belle pulled the trigger and sent a tranquilizer dart wailing through the air. Were-Hubby stopped short as the dart ripped into his shoulder and he let out a yelp before collapsing to the ground.
"Miss, watch out!" The woman screamed from behind her. Belle sensed instantly a leaping form to her right and she spun to the side, raising the dart gun and firing at a second werewolf, knocking it onto the hood of a Ford Explorer.
"Guess he really wasn't class. You're at least supposed to say something like, 'Heads up!' before you jump someone...Even if you're rich."
Belle put the dart gun on the ground and bent over to help the woman up.
"Listen, your husband'll be fine. He'll wake up in the morning and he'll be less monstery. Hate to break it to ya, but he's a werewolf and he'll be like this during every full moon for the rest of his life. To ensure your safety, you can take my dart gun. Don't be afraid to shoot at him when he turns into this. Oh, get a cage. A strong one."
Belle spun on her heel and bent over to pick the man of un-class up. Surprisingly, her small arms were more than able to lift the werewolf above her shoulder.
"How'd you do that?" the woman cried. "What are you?"
Belle stopped and turned her head. A small smile formed on her lips.
"Just a Slayer, trying to do her job."
