Question Like the Season???

I think it was the weakest season but I still liked it a lot. Granted the Big Bad wasn't great but the character development was fantastic. The series expanded its horizons as did the lives of the characters. They were no longer confied to high school and had to fend for themselves in the big bad world. Excellent stuff.

I didn't hate it but I liked it 🙂 it's not my favourite but it has really good episodes, "Hush", "This Year's Girl", "Who Are You?", "Something Blue", "Restless", "Phase" etc but Adam really dissapointed me when I saw him I was like oh yeah! This demon/human/robot gonna be really cool! But I was wrong I kept yawning whenever he came on and I hated Riley wit a passion he was so wooden if he was played by another actor maybe I will like him a bit more, plus I hated how he thought he was stronger then Buffy. Plus I hate that Oz left 🙁 Oz should of stayed forever even though I love Tara, Oz will always be my favourite if Seth wanted to leave so badly I don't think cheating was the answer :/ at least it wasn't death, I wish Oz came back for the last season.

I don't mind this season. It has some episodes that I like such as Beer Bad, Hush and Something Blue (Spuffy 😛), but I don't love the overall story line 🙁 However, I can live with it, unlike S7.

Season 4...not a terrible season but not one of Whedon's strongest. Entering college in the fall, I'm focusing more on this particular season for obvious reasons. However, I can barely go an episode without insulting that inferior Riley Finn. His pansy ass never fails to annoy me. Besides, the relationship fostered between Riley and Buffy was not believable nor likable in my opinion. Love should have passion and fire, not routine and pragmatism. Other than that, the season features strong episodes such as Pangs, Something Blue, and Hush to name a few. The soundtrack to Hush is incredible in itself. That's getting a bit off topic though. Tara is introduced in this season bringing up another strong point as well as Willow's growing Wiccan power. Spike becomes a more prevalent character in addition to bringing more comedic stances to serious matters (enter Pangs). Unfortunately, he gets tied up with Adam in the end there but he comes back. Being an avid Spike fan, I am an extreme advocate to his actions. All in all, Season 4, not bad, not great, but not bad. 😎

PS (serious evidence of my sleep depravation) Faith also returns in Season 4 as her bad ass self, fighting against Buffy and the Scoobies, causing mayhem and a new, more extreme conflict.

i personally think this season is one of my fave, ofcourse there are few eppisodes that are week as in every season but overall a good way to move the series forward, i feel that riley and buffys relationship was a good storyline because ofcourse there relationship would never be as passionate or exciting as her and angels but thats what makes it more realistic to me because not every relationship is going to be that crazy

It has some good aspects, but it also has some seriously bad ones as well.

First of all, I like Riley, but the whole Initiative thing was crap. I think it was way too scientific and too less mystic.
It's like they are trying to study and understand demons and all that supernatural stuff. It turned the whole "demons are mysterious and unexplainable thing" upside down.

But then it has some great episodes as well. For example Wild at Heart, Something Blue, New Moon Rising, This Year's Girl and, above all, Hush.
I like that the season gets really dramatic at times and that they focus a little less on Buffy but more on the rest of the Scoobies.

...and I hate that Walsh woman with all my heart. I love the moment when she dies, even though I hate Adam as well.
Oh, and that idea is so ridiculous. In my opinion, you can't put various demons and humans together and revive the body.

I think this is a great season actually.

Even though I wasn't ecstatic about the Initiative, I still think it offered a new and fresh idea to the table. My first impression of the Initiative was: "Wow! This will take a lot of load off Buffy's shoulders!". But as the season progresses, I became less of a fan (a lot of it was because of Walsh) and I was kind of annoyed that this organization was stealing Buffy's 'spotlight', you can say.
This season also had my favourite episode of the series: Hush = LOVED IT!
Oh and this is where my fangirling for Spike started. So, big ups for season 4! :3

One negative in the season (in my opinion) that I found was the breaking up of Willow and Oz. I cried when Oz left and his small speach saying Willow was his first/only love. The tears just poured down.
