Buffy: Well, it's nice to be able to help someone in a non-slaying capacity. Except he's starting to get that look, you know, like he's gonna ask me to prom.
Giles: Well, it would probably be good for his self-esteem, if you...
Buffy: Oh, come on! What am I, Saint Buffy? He's, like, three feet tall.
(Earshot)

Buffy: You know, I-I figure, that way sometimes I could spend
the night. Like, after the prom, it would be nice to be able to just come back
here and spend some time together.
Angel: The prom?
Buffy: End of high school rite of passage thingy. Think cotillion with spiked punch and electric sleigh.

The Prom

Cordelia: Oh, look, it's the Three Musketeers.
Buffy: Was that an insult?
Xander: Kinda lacked punch.
Willow:The Three Musketeers were cool.
(When She Was Bad)

Wesley Wyndam-Pryce: So, what are we thinking? Vampires?
Cordelia: Well, they're not a deeply tanned bunch.
Charles Gunn: That would explain the precision and the athleticism. I mean, some of those jumps were-
[everyone looks at him]
Charles Gunn: You know, I was cool before I met y'all.

Waiting in the Wings

Principal Snyder: Somebody's got to keep an eye on them. They're just a bunch of hormonal time bombs. You think they're thinking about learning? Every time a pretty girl walks by every boy turns into a bumbling idiot. I try to teach them the important things in life. Discipline. Respect. Punctuality. I might as well be talking to myself. (When She Was Bad)

Spike (about Dawn): She's not just a blob of energy, she's also a 14-year-old hormone bomb. Which one's screwing her up more right now, spin the bloody wheel.

Blood Ties

Buffy: It's nice that you're excited.
Willow: It's just that in High School, knowledge was pretty much frowned upon, you really had to work to learn anything. But here... the energy, the collective intelligence, it's like this force. This penetrating force.. and I can just feel my mind opening up, you know, and letting this place just thrust into and spurt knowledge into. That sentence ended up in a different place than it started out in. (The Freshman)

Xander: "Well, yeah, I would give anything to be able to turn invisible. Well, I wouldn't use my powers to beat people up, but I'd use my powers to protect the girls' locker room."
Giles: "It must be a fairly heady experience... having that ability."
Willow: "How'd she get it? Is she a witch? 'Cause we can fight a witch."
Xander: "Hmm. Greek myths speak of cloaks of invisibility, but they're usually for the gods. [gets looks from everyone] Research Boy comes through with the knowledge!"

Out of Mind, Out of Sight

Cordelia: So, are you saying she's invisible because she's so unpopular?
Buffy: That about sums it up.
Cordelia: Bummer for her. It's awful to feel that lonely.
Buffy: Hmm. So you've read something about the feeling?
(Out of Mind, Out of Sight)

GUNN Strange times.
Have you talked to Wes?

LORNE Well, we've exchanged words. I wouldn't exactly call it talking. He's still reeling since Our Lady of the Blue Bummer arrived.

Time Bomb

Buffy: I wouldn't break out the tartar sauce just yet. It's not like you were exposed more than once. Twice?
Xander: Three times a Fish Guy. (Go Fish)

Cordelia Chase: "You want to try some of my sashimi?"
Charles Gunn: "That's the raw fish? Maybe when hell freezes over."

Belonging

Philip: So you have no special skills or powers or knowledge that you bring to the mix. Neither of you.
Anya: Just enthusiasm for killing the demons. Go deadness for the demons!

Checkpoint 😀

Willow: So he is a good vampire? I mean on a scale of one to ten. Ten being someone who's killing and maiming every night, one being someone who's... not. (Angel)

DAWN: So ... you're like a good demon? Bringing the fun in?

Once more with feeling

Spike: So, who do you kill for fun around here?
Collin: Who are you?
Spike: Spike. You're that Anointed guy. I read about you. You've got Slayer problems. That's a bad piece of luck. Do you know what I find works real good with Slayers? Killing them. (School Hard)

Cordy: "Let me break it down for you, Fred. Oh - Angel! I know that I'm a Slayer and you a vampire - and it would be *impossible* for us to *be* together - *but!*"
Wes: "But! My gypsy curse sometimes prevent me from seeing the truth. Oh, Buffy!"
Cordy: "Yes, Angel?"
Wes: "Oh, I love you so much I almost forgot to *brood!*"
Cordy: "And just because I sent you to hell that one time doesn't mean that we can't just be friends."
Wes: "Or possibly more."
Cordy: "Gasp! No! We mustn't."
Wes: "Kiss me."
Cordy: "Bite me!"
Angel: "How about you both bite me."

Riley: But he's not just a regular vampire. He has special powers, right?
Spike: Nothing but showy Gypsy stuff. What's it to you, anyway?
Riley: He's in town, making his presence known.
Spike: Drac's in Sunnydale? Guess the old boy needed closure after all. (Buffy vs. Dracula)

It's funny, but beating up that pirate gave me a nice sense of closure. (Xander, the halloween episode in season 2)
