OMG! You are so right, now I'm sort of wishing I had waited for the TPB... that cover is just too frickin' awesome! By the way, did someone else also see the Serenity-comic written by Joss Whedon a little further down the list?
 
Well, as somebody who is waiting for the trade version (and my god, what a wait!) I have to say that the cover makes it all worthwhile. I actually thought that it would be released a little sooner than that, maybe September at the very latest, but I can hold out... I hope...

I'd recommend getting the trade version even if you already bought the monthly comics actually. Not only is it a great way to reread the story but it will only add to Dark Horse's reasons to want to keep this series alive for as long as possible.

Plus? DAMN that is a fine cover! 😉

OMG...I like Georges' cover best for number six the best tho...but OH MY GOD!
 
OMFG!! what a cover!! i'm TOTALLY buying that!

TFAW are messing me around with issue four...i might not get it, so i'm reading as many spoilers as i can, so that i know what's going on.
but even if i do amange to get issue four, there's NO WAY i'm not buying the TPB. that cover is truely stunning!
 
Think that's my fave Georges cover so far too, the Faith one. He's finally got some mood, atmosphere going with the nighttime setting, the moon, the warm light from the city coming in. (gotta mention Dave Stewart on the coloring of course) Nice.

Jo's getting so good with the likenesses now. I want a poster version of that TPB art. Damn.

This sounds so fun. Vaughan writes smart-mouthed, cynical female assassins quite well, heh. At least one that I can think of...
 
Yeah the female assassin thing does sound fun. Didn't I read a spoiler saying
the assassin was going to be a rogue slayer
. The Cleveland thing confuses me. Editor Scott Allie said Faith was in England. Either way sounds great though.

Rogue slayer? Well, we never did get to see what happened to Dana after she was taken by Andrew. Maybe not everything went to plan with her?

Oh, I forgot that. Confusing, yes. These teasers can be tricky. I got the sense (I guess from Allie's comments, somewhere) that Faith was going to take care of troubles in Cleveland, then make her way to England over the course of this arc. Vaughan is big into using flashbacks, don't know if that will come into play.

Wow, so the TPB has all the covers by Jo Chen and Georges Jeanty? Definately getting it. I just hope that the TPB won't have an alternative cover by Georges Jeanty LOL.

P.S. As I understand there will be no alternate cover for #6? Or is the 'Georges Jeanty Art' picture the alternative cover?

That is an amazing cover. I'm definitely buying that even though I have all four issues already. That is going to be the only cover right? I hope they don't do a variant one or whatever.

I've got it down to blue, black, or brown, but I haven't made up my mind yet. Did you notice how cool it looks in black and white?
Damn. That Karma comment didn't really say what I wanted it to. What I mean is, on my computer, just before I change the settings the pic goes to black and white, and I think, hey that's not bad. I think I'm going to try it that way too.

I change wallpapers a lot, but I think I'll just play with this one for awhile looking at it in different ways instead.
 
In fact I can show you how I use it for wallpaper now.

I tell people the bottom one is a mural painted on the Fox Studio building. Don't know if they believe me though. 🙂

I think Xander still doesn't look like Xander, some little things are off. Still, an awesoem cover.
