AtS is more difficult to rate for me. I love the BtVS approach to a 22-episode arc, and find that on AtS they never catch the ratio between season arc and standalones correctly - although they had two multiepisode miniarcs, and I love both of them and wish BtVS had tried it. Anyway:
S3 - Great standalones, Holtz is a great character if his single-mindedness is a bit boring. And only a few teen-Connor episodes...
S5 - They tried a lot of good ideas here, and a lot of the standalones are fantastic, but AI joining W&H just never really panned out to being the great idea it potentially could have been.
S1 - It would be a great season with the removal of about 6 or 7 really weak episodes.
S2 - I love Pylea but the middle of the season lags terribly.
S4 - this one was easy, though I love Gwen and I like the Jasmine arc.
