Listening to Fear...All About Joyce

This was truly a tearjerker episode, which featured a great performance from Kristine Sutherland.

For me it was more about the toll a loved one's illness takes on those CLOSEST to them. The monster was simply a subplot.

Dawn still annoys me, but i love what Joyce said about her being precious. The final shot of Joyce being wheeled to the O.R. looking back at Buffy, Dawn and the others broke my heart.

Is this the episode where Joyce tells Buffy, "Love Dawn as much as I love you"? If so, grrr. I HATE that part. How rude.

But yes, if I liked Joyce, this would have probably been heartwrenching. 😛

And although I agree that the Queller was the subplot, Joyce's fits about it/in general freak me out. I know it's kinda lame, but this is one of the scariest episodes IMO. I can't watch it by myself at night.
