Little miss muffet counting down from 7-3-0

OK guys, any idea what Faith meant when she said this in the dream sequence in graduation day part 2? I have a few theories of my own, but what do you all think it means.

Especially bearing in mind how the crazy dream sequences have often told us what is coming up in future series' such as making the bed and having to 'be back in time for Dawn' (and yes, I did think they meant daylight at that time... How was I supposed to guess they would magick a sister out of energy called Dawn? Cryptic much? Point being, use your imaginations as it is bound to be a very tenuous link knowing Joss!)
 
I was wondering about that myself lately. It's actually kind of weird because I've been watching that episode a couple times in the past few days. There may be a connection between that episode and "Restless". At the beginning of Buffy's dream in "Restless", she is in the doorway to her bedroom and she says...

Buffy: Faith and I just made that bed.
(Then there's a shot of the bed, still rumpled but now without Buffy in it.)
Tara: For who?
Buffy: I thought you were here to tell me.
Buffy: The guys aren't here, are they? We were gonna
hang out and, watch movies
Tara: You lost them.
Buffy: No. No. I think they need me to find them.
(Then there's a shot of the digital alarm clock next to the bed, showing 7:30 AM.)
Buffy: It's so late.
Tara: Oh ... that clock's completely wrong.

Counting down from 7-3-0... and it's 7:30am. Connection? I have no idea.
 
Wow. THat's a really good point. That dream sequence with Faith and Buffy and the episode Restless were always a little confusing to me. Joss must be trying to say something (in Restless is there some hinting at Dawn?), but I dunno what. I really have no idea. So if anyone is feeling more analytical at the moment. Please. Go ahead, and start explaining.
 
The last scene of "Restless" shows Buffy looking into the spare room. In her head she thinks of what Tara said to her in her dream: "You think you know. What's to come. What you are. You haven't even begun."

The room that Buffy is looking into becomes Dawn's room. "What's to come." is meant to be about Dawn.

And then there's that whole "Be back before Dawn" bit, which I'm not even sure has to do with Dawn. I think it does, though, right?
 
That could be a connection. The 'be back before Dawn" bit, I mean. The other part in Restless, that's the one I had forgotten about. That is a strange episode, but I really love it!
 
Well i have just watched the season 2 finale becoming pt 2 and there is a scene in Giles house were whistler and Buffy are talking he asks if shes ready and she says she has nohing to loose. To which he replies your wrong you have one thing one prechious thing and i think that could be about Dawn Im no sure.
 
730 days = 2 years. 'Graduation Day' is two years before 'The Gift'. "Be back before Dawn" in 'Restless', well, duh 🙂. Especially since SMG in the 'Buffy's Back' special said that JW had that storyline planned about three years in advance. The 7:30am, "which is completely wrong", is a reference that there is a connection between the two prophesizing episodes I think.

Actually, what Whistler is referring to is herself. Because in the big fight between Buffy and Angel, Angel says to Buffy something about her having nothing left and Buffy says, "Wrong. I've got me." Or something like that. 😉
 
I read somewhere(in Dreamwatch,I think) that it was meant to refer to 730 days between transmission of "Graduation Day" and "The Gift" -which had already been written and given an airdate.
 
Then I guess slaXt0r was right about that. But I don't understand. What was the point?
 
Yea, I read that it was 730 i.e 2 years until 'The Gift'. Faith also said something about Little Sis and 'Look at you all dressed up in big sis' clothes' or something along those lines which would suggest she was hinting about Dawn. The 730 was important I think because that was when everything would unfold, when Dawn was being used etc and when Buffy would die again or something like that.

'Little Miss Muffet' also could have been subtly hinting about Dawn because in 'Real Me' the crazy man appraoched Dawn and said 'I know you, curds and whey' or something along those lines, which is from the Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme. I'm probably way off with that but I have a lot of time on my hands to ponder such things!🙄

I think JW put this stuff in as an Easter egg for die-hard fans.(or to give saddoes like us something to nit-pick - oops - I mean discuss on the internet😉 )
