Little versions...

I have two kids, one of each, nine and two years old. Due to health problems i can't have anymore, which suits me fine because i don't want more.

Kids are a huge responsibility, the biggest you'll ever have because once they're here, there's nothing you can do about it. They're hard work too with taking care of them, nurturing them etc, they're very sweet and cute as babies, but then they grow up and develop minds and wills of their own (welcome the terrible two's for starters! ) and that's when it gets really tough, so it's not a decision to be made lightly.

My oldest is autistic which makes things ten times harder, but i cope okay. I don't regret having either of them even when they're at their absolute worst. By rights i shouldn't have either of them and i almost lost my youngest, so they're precious to me, even when i'm tearing my hair out at them in frustration.
 
Omg Keenie, I can't believe your little boy is 9 now...I remember when he was still a tiny tot (well maybe not so tiny, but definitely a lot younger!) I feel so old!

101; I don't think I know of any mums who are just on welfare...
 
my moms mom used to be...... then she got a job months later they used to live in a shelter and was on welfare cause moms dad died and moms mom wasn't working so its possible.
 
Oh 101 I wasn't having a go or anything, just that it seems that it's the minority who can only live on welfare, which I didn't think you were saying. Sorry 🙂
 
its cool i mean its all good not many people just live on welfare alone true but it could happen 🙂 By the way willow i love your avatar sorry but i had to say that

dont want kids rather have clones of myself, and as a "mad" scientist I am working hard in my lab to find a way to perfect human cloning, I would prefer to have 8 clones of myself, thats a nice round number!
 
I have one little girl who is two(going on twenty two) and I am expecting my second child. Kids are hard work and don't believe anyone who says they're not. But I wouldn't swop her for the world. My little girl is going to be a mini mom for the new baby, I'm not gonna get a look in!🙂
 
kids can be a hastle somtimes...ask my aunt...she just had a kid and she barely gets any sleep...
 
oh hell yes they can be a hassel...but i learned that as long as you don't hit or be excessively loud...its allot easier...hitting sucks cause ya kid will remember it...jus like me...and ya can't keep hitting ya kid...he will grow up...and then there will be hell to pay...
 
Yeah, and take it from me, sometimes, if you hit a kid enough, they hit back...

I'm gonna have 2...and if i don't have a boy and a girl in one shot, than I'm gonna go for a third 😉 It will be at least a year before i start trying. 😀
