Live Journal

You're like the Live Journal It Follows!

I've actually not been on all that much. I kinda got pissed when one of the people everyone in the know knew pretended to have died, and there was all sorts of attention paid. Then another fan, a friend of mine - big time writer but not all that well liked - actually had a stroke, lingered for a month and died and it just seemed the reaction was meh. I backed off then. I'm trying to get back into it - the flocked fiction and artwork is well worth it, and there are some great people there. But that was my ox getting gored.

Someone faked their death? Were they like 'woooo I am a ghost' but really, thats kinda cool faking your death. I have thought about it a few times. I don't know any nefarious types to hook me up with a new identity, but that would be wicked cool. To just say, I fouled my life up enough, time for a new one! I'd have a name like... Burt Billowsworth. Something cool like that. Move out west. Get lost in the Arizona desert, with my mind blown on peyote and watching the stars encircle the earth at night.

But this is reality and not Live Journal and I am stick with Burt Pole as my name. Such is life. Don't cry for me. Really. I'm not looking for your tears.

I live in the AZ desert - peyote just makes you puke.

Go find the name of a kid that died in your birth year and make a new identity. It works on tv.😀

I guess it was the cliques and the big history, and disconcerting weird undertones while it all happened - not wanting the drama I sorta wandered off. Drama is long over, and to be fair it was the only big drama I was aware of.

Oh they've been many big dramas in the day, but that was only at the height of the fandom. Things are a lot quieter now. :)
I know.. because I was going to put mexican but I had to remember on what thread I was posting to give a shout out to the OP.. there is a madness to my method.

Should I be scared? 😀

I was in the ST TOS fandom - we sort of invented fandom, and fandom drama. But we didn't have the internet - I can only imagine...oh, the humanity, the humanity!
