So, I have started an exploration of the LJ Buffy/Spuffy community. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good journals for me to watch? Please post links here.

Thanks!

You can start withMore Links Than A Bag of Sausages, petzipellepingo updates almost daily what's going on in the verse (fanfiction, vids, links to meta's, icons, polls, interesting discussion, on LJ and outside. That's a must add friend.

Moskow Watcher always gives excellent recs on fanfiction (she also had written some and made some funny avis).

Gabrielleabelle is a strong feminist spokesperson and she loves Buffy/Spike.

Shadowkat writes interesting meta's.

Anyhow, look into people LJ memories and you'll go from there.

I can't help you out with Spuffy (obviously lol) but there are a few good general BTVS comms going around.

su_hearld This is the fandom news letter. It posts every evening with the most news worthy fics/art/happenings in the fandom. You will probably like this, it's very Spuffy heavy. Or at least it appears to be to me.

buffyversetop5 This a great community. It's a reccing session that happens for every holiday. You list your top 5 whatever (fic/art/icons/vids/meta) in fandom for that year OR during Halloween you get to rec top 5's of all time. Checking out the tag list is a must. It lead you to a goldmine of fandomy goodness.

daliybtvs This is probably my favourite Buffy comm. It is just so much fun. The girl that runs it is an absolute sweetheart too. Basically she posts a picspam or a gif of a Buffy scene. Doesn't sound like much but it is actually really lovely and her tags are pure joy lol

thanks for the recs, kean!
Watching a Community means that any public posts that are posted to the Community will be added to your Friends Page, where you can view them, but any private entry to the community will be blocked. Private means that the person who posted has blocked anyone who's not a member from seeing their post, so you'll have to join to see any private posts.

It's the same with any personal LJ. You can set your journal so that only the people on your friends list can see your entries, meaning that you will have to add this person to your friends list, and have them add you in return for you to see their private entries. You can also choose to have some entries, like art or fic, for example, open to the public, while keeping the rest of your entries private.
